These sweet girls need our help! They are seniors but still a little young for our sanctuary. Please share them. They have been given up on several times. I really don't think they were given a proper chance. Please see shelter notes. They're at Young Williams animal shelter. In Knoxville, TN. They deserve a chance to be loved! **We have had two bonded senior female boxer mixes named Meg and Diane in and out of our care since January fifth. They were adopted three times and returned soon after; once to animal control, so we have no notes on the reason for return, once because the adopters experienced a shift in their lifestyle due to custody arrangements of one of their nieces, and once for aggression to cats (after one day, so perhaps the introduction was done improperly). They love sunshine, they love hanging out outside and would be ideal gardening buddies for someone. They are super bonded with each other, they love napping and cuddling with people. Diane likes other dogs but Meg is more selective about her canine companions. They do better if introduced to other dogs individually before meeting them together. They've done fine with younger children. They're very sweet girls, but we have a very hard time convincing folks to adopt one senior dog over 60 pounds, much less two of them. They are both seven years old, heartworm negative, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and are microchipped.** Please share for Meg & Diane, they deserve better... #seniorboxermix #adopt #urgent #help #youngwilliams #share #adoptseniordogs #boxer #boxergirls #whisperingwillowsseniordogsanctuary #seniordogs # findthemahome #adoptmeganddiane #rescueseniordogs #theyneedyou (at Williams Young Animal Shelter)
