I think the problem is that usually an "accessible structure or trope" is just basic setup and payoff. In order for a narrative to make sense, there needs to be a pattern, a through line, for the audience to follow
This colors toh s3 and kog in such a special light
Like I couldn't follow along with the plot of kog's first episode because in HER mind, she doesn't want to "spoonfeed" the audience information.
But the thing is, you just need a baseline of information for there to be stakes and the plot to make sense. You have to tell the audience facts about your world and characters
