Weekly tea, what a joke. Ever since Alaina's brother had become engaged to Queen Susan, Alaina had been forced to have weekly tea with her to 'get to know her'. At first Alaina felt uncomfortable, but over time Alaina grew quite fond of Susan- became good friends even.
Wednesday rolled around, and Alaina stomped her way through the snow up to the great castle. Within an instant, castle staff whisked away her coat and dried off her boots, escorting her into one of the many cafe's.
As Alaina fumbled into her seat across from Susan, she kept fiddling around with the rim of her saucer plate. "How are you, Susan?" She asked, as she bit her lip and stared off just past Susan's eyes, a small grin appearing onto her face.
