YES of course I’d love to share some silly Oak Family HCs with you!!

One of my current personal favorite hcs is that Sparrow has a completely one-sided rivalry with Grant over parenting and family stuff.

It started out with Sparrow being like oh wow Grant and Marco have such a good relationship and Link is generally pretty well behaved! I wish my kids listened to me lol (and that my wife didn’t cheat on me) but hey at least my kids can hold their own if things get dangerous!

Cut to the Li Wilsons kicking ass, as fighting ability is hereditary for the Wilson’s. And Sparrow is like oh! Hm! Well! Even if our family is a little chaotic at times we know how to talk about our emotions!

Cut AGAIN to Link and Grant having a heart to heart about past trauma, trust and honesty. And Sparrow’s like FUCK. GODDAMNIT.

Sparrow, desperately attempting to hold up the charade that the Oaks are in any way a normal family: Guys we have GOT to step up our game!! (I REFUSE TO LOSE TO FUCKING GAMER BOY.)

Meanwhile the rest of the Oaks: Normal tried to do a cartwheel, fell over, knocked into Hero, who proceeded to drop her ramune, shattering the glass bottle and sending the marble inside rolling, which causes Lark to trip and knock his head straight into the bowl of ice cream Rebecca was making on the counter.

Sparrow: oh god we’re a fucking mess.
