I am so sorry about such a late reply! I wrote out a reply when I first saw this and everything, but my tumblr wouldn’t let me publish any asks, only answer them privately, so it took awhile. In response, I said:
Hi darling, thank you so much for sending me this. <3 To be honest, I haven’t been talking to many people lately, Jade included, and in some ways, I come off as uncaring and reckless and annoyed to her. I don’t really think about what I’ve done, though, just “I’m so busy” and “I’m so tired”, and that’s it, really. Those are the pathetic excuses I’ve made in order to avoid talking to Jade and other people, and now that you’ve sent me this message, it has made me realize that I’ve been taking so many things for granted, my friends included.And yes, you’re right, Jade is a special, exceptional person. I love her a lot, but sometimes I have a hard time showing that love. And I agree; she’s a treasure. You can really see Christ in her, can’t you? At least, bits and bits of it. I’m really sure that she’s being transformed into His image even if she doesn’t think so.I’m sure she would love to be close friends with you, anon!
