Recently, I've noticed that there's been a LOT of anon hate towards other members of the youtube fandom. What I don't understand is why members of this fandom are sending anon hate to other members of the same fandom. We're meant to be a family, not just a fandom, and sending hate to others bc they maybe have more followers or more notices than you is just pathetic and downright bitchy. I don't think people realise that we're ALL equal. Whether you have 10 followers or 10,000, we're all here for the same reason and we're all here to support youtubers. Another thing that I've been seeing a lot is people saying people with a lot of followers, that don't follow many people back are 'stuck up' or 'up their own arse'. Personally I think this is very rude as people can choose to follow whoever they like and I'm not sure anyone would like to be following 10k people. It doesn't make them stuck up in the slightest. Also the bitterness towards people that have been noticed quite a lot is horrible. Why can' you just be goddam happy for them and instead of sending hate saying 'you don't deserve those notices' just be happy for them. Yes you may be jealous, but just bc you're jealous, doesn't mean the person doesn't deserve the notice. It's really annoying when I see people saying that someone 'didn't deserve the notice' bc everyone deserves a notice. Whether someone has had 40 notices before, or no notices before, everyone deserves every single notice that they get. Another thing that's been bugging me is people saying people are 'thirsty' bc they tweet a certain youtuber/youtubers all the time. That is why they are here for god sake, to support youtubers. Why shouldn't they be allowed to tweet them 40 times a day? It's their accounts, not yours.

It's actually quite upsetting seeing people saying that they 'hate the fandom and the people in it'. If you hate it so much, why are you still in it? Honestly. Personally, I think the fandom has good days and bad days, but I wouldn't ever want to be in a different fandom. I've met some of my bestfriends through twitter, and I will be forever thankful for that. I love just coming onto to twitter and having everyone there for you. If I'm upset, there are always people willing to listen and cheer me up. If I'm in a good mood, there are always people there to join in with my good mood. If someone post's a selfie, I always see so many people telling them that they're beautiful and it makes me happy. That is what a fandom is about, being there for each other, supporting our idols, supporting eachother. We're a family, not a fandom. Let's keep it that way.
