Soooooooo basically idk how to explain nicely lmao. Before i found out about 49, 17 and 16 were my favorites (and they still are to some extent XD) and when i found out about 49 she just looked so... cool. Idk why, she just looked so epic to me cuz I LOVE squares, i love 7, and I love rainbows 🥹so, one DREADFUL day /j /silly i decided to make a gijinka of her cuz i LOVE LOVE LOOOOVVEEE her design in the real show. Here's a pic of the drawing in question it's very old lmao 😭😭

and after that, I started drawing her more cuz she was one of the 3 gijinkas (49, 16, 17) i had at the time 💔

eventually she started growing on me cuz i was drawing her so much, so bing bop bam i gave her some headcanons 🥹 one of my first headcannons i made for her was that she was in a trio with 56 and 63 and she would probably play as the kinda sassy and ambiverted kind. I LOVED this headcannon (and i still have it today despite 56 kinda looking like a third wheel now lmao💔) so I decided to make artworks an art of them 😁😁😁

i remember there was this one PARTICULAR animation i made of 49 and 63 (first ever squaregreybows media to ever exist WOAH⁉️) which slowly made me ship them more and more (start of 56 third wheel arc💔)... Andddd eventuallyyyy it beat Partypainter in my endless list of otps and it became my number one favorite ship🥹🥹(STILL LOVE PARTYPAINTER‼️‼️)

basicallyyyyy one time i just thought abt what I was posting one day and realized I have been posting WAYYYY too much 49 and way too less 17. This was concerning to me because i could have SWORN my reputation revolved around 17 being my favorite numberblock. Gradually, i felt like my posts abt 17 kept on feeling more and more forced just to keep my "#1 17 kinnie" reputation alive and I just got tired.

SOOOOO one day I just said "SCREW IT ALL LET'S BE THE NUMBER ONE 17 AND 49 KINNIE!!!!1!111!!!!11!!" AND I FINALLY HAD THE FREEDOM TO POST AS MUCH OF EACH AS I WANT!!!!!!11!1!11!1! /SILLY

soooo with this FREEDOM i posted MORE and MORE 49 and the more i drew her / posted about her the more she grew on me. Later, my precious pookie wookie schmookie cookie bear @brainstormgn asked me if I have tumblr. So I downloaded tumblr FOR HER 🫶🫶ANDDD I MADE THIS ACCOUNT🥹🥹 Anddd i thought since my pinterest profile was based off ot 17, why not make my tumblr (which is now my main) baed of of 49!?!?!?!?!??!?! So I DID!!!!! AND I POSTED ABOUT HER!!!!!!!!!! And FINALLY, I decided that 49 WAS MY FAVORITE NUMBERBLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (que cheering and applauding)
