Lilith: Phew! Thank Watcher! I knew you'd get it. Still, I think, maybe we need to just be friends. I'm going to be heading back to Pleasantview after graduation for a bit to spend time with the fam. Then we're going to Sulani for the summer. I just won't be around much.
Joshua: I understand. I won't lie, you're special to me. You're my first love. And I think part of me will always love you, but I also think we make great friends. And I really would like to continue being friends.
Lilith: Aw, Josh. Definitely. And hey, you can keep the ring. It only cost me 99 cents.

Lilith passed out early at the party and ends up waking up just a little before dawn. She thinks, that was a good party. Well, as far as I can remember. The details are a little hazy....Hopefully I didn't do anything stupid....

Lilith gets drunk and uh......makes some impulsive decisions. Like asking Joshua to marry her. After not being the most committed person. It's fine though, right? Like, look she's totally committing now!

Lilith: Hey, thanks for coming over so early.
Joshua: Of course. It sounded urgent. Is everything okay?
Lilith: I...I don't really know how to say this. Watcher! I've made such a mess of things.
Joshua: What do you mean?
Lilith: The whole engagement thing...I was drunk. It-it wasn't meant to be serious. I'm so sorry. I've kind of been avoiding you since then, and everyone else seems to think it was real and then I got your love letter—Anyway. I've been really unfair to you. I was going to put off this conversation until after graduation but it just couldn't wait anymore. I understand if you're furious with me or can't forgive me. But I just wanted to clear the air once and for all.
Joshua: Oh, Lilith. You've really been beating yourself up over this, huh?
Lilith: Kinda, yeah.
Joshua: I sort of knew you weren't serious. I hoped, a little bit, because I really do love you. But I know you want to date around. Fifty first dates, right?
Lilith: But...the letter...
Joshua: I guess I was carrying on the bit. Maybe a little too sincerely. I'm sorry if that caused more confusion.
Lilith: So you're saying you knew it was a joke and you totally understand and don't hate me?
Joshua: Yeah I think that pretty much sums it up.
