Oumar's eyes grew wide as he saw her. He recognized her. Despite being effectively homeless, with nothing but his car and whims to carry him, Oumar still found ways to stay connected to the world around him.
Besides, even if he didn't have a phone or ways to get on a computer, he would have still remembered watching her videos from when he did have the luxury of having regular internet access. He wondered what it must be like to have a voice that wasn't just perfect, but that could mimic others identically so that you weren't limited by your range or natural vocals.
Unwilling to lose out on this opportunity, Oumar wandered over to her. He made sure to bring over a pair of teas. He wasn't sure if she drank tea, but he did know that oftentimes tea with honey could help with your voice, so it felt the safest bet. "Hey, you don't know me, but I know you and you probably get this a lot, but I just had to come over and say hi because I've seen your videos and I just wanted to say, I think you're great. And also I wanted to ask, are you able to just automatically sing because you can sing with any voice, or do you still have to, you know, know how to sing? I mean, you kind of have to know how to carry a tune, right?"
Oumar paused, realizing he had said a lot of words very quickly to a stranger. "I'm not crazy, I swear." He looked at the tea he had brought over, realizing it might also be suspicious to be brought a beverage, because in this city, anyone could be trying to poison you. "You don't have to drink the tea either. I realize now that probably is something you're told not to do when people-- strangers-- offer you drinks."
