I went to @animetowncons with the intention to compete, and ended up helping judge the cosplay contest instead! They’re coming back in September which is awesome! This isn’t the most comfortable costume I’ve ever made, but it wore great & lots of people recognized it. My husband snapped this pic in the dealers room while we were looking around. He still has to process the cosplay shots he got for me today. I’ll be at @animetowncons next Saturday in my #yshtolacosplay it’ll be cool enough weather to where I won’t melt in that massive amount of vegan leather I call her dress. I’m hoping to do the cosplay contest while there. I made her staff to scale for me, so it’s almost 7 feet tall. It’s gonna be a pain to transport but I’m in love with how it turned out.
