At the force of the impact, Kanai also stumbled to the ground, spilling her drink in the process and landing on her elbow in a awkward way. Slightly miffed that she got her clothes wet and the man who bumped into her has not apologized yet, she pushed her long bangs away from her face so she could get a clear look at him. Obviously she needs to find out if this intoxicated man was someone she knew, and if he was, she will make sure her pays for her dress and dinner.

Rising to her feet much easier than her drunk ‘friend’, Kanai set her glass on the table and leaned on a chair, blue eyes staring down at him in annoyance.

“Good. I’m glad you’re okay, since you will be the one paying me back for the clothes you just soiled and treating me to dinner. After the party when you are actually sober, of course.” She replied, her tone cold. Giving him another glance, the female noticed some dirt had got on his back and chuckled.

“You might want to wipe the back of your shirt while you’re at it. We can’t let anyone else know how much of a light-weight you are..”

Now more upright, he could observe his surrounds more. Although, given a little fuzzier than usual. He saw the mess on the floor and followed it up to a woman who he must've knocked over. His mistake soon dawn on him and he blushed a shade of red in embarrassment, not that it would show much as he was already very drunk.

"I deeply apologise." He gave her a short quick bow. He was remorseful, yet he felt more ashamed he had allowed such an incident to occur in the first place. He only hoped this wouldn't reach the Vice Commander's ears. However, from the woman's words he could tell that she wasn't going to let him off the hook with a mere apology. She was rightfully angry, but he couldn't help but regret that he had gotten himself into this mess.

"If that would make you feel better, then allow me to take care of the cleaning bill." As for her last remark, there wasn't much point in it at this point as he had already caused a scene and he suspected whispers unfortunately would already be going round.
