Yumi is twirling ramen noodles in her bowl as she‘s ranting about her love life to Sayo.
‘‘Ughhh! You know today I was supposed to eat here with him but he‘s too busy with his schedule AGAIN..‘‘
‘‘I wish I could just keep a leash on his neck so he could follow me wherever I go.‘‘
Sayo chuckles while wiping off the counter next to her, ‘‘If you did he‘d be great help, Yumi-san.‘‘
‘‘Hahh?? What‘s he gonna do?? Play blind shogi with traffic violators???‘‘ Yumi huffs at the statement Sayo just said.
‘‘Oh no, what I meant was that, doesn‘t he have good memory? He helped you solve a case here, you know.‘‘ Sayo replied,
Maintaning eye contact with Yumi as she continued: ‘‘He might help remember which turn a speeding car went off too, haha.‘‘ She giggled, acknowledging Yumi‘s annoyed expression.
Meanwhile, the door to the ramen shop chimed open. ‘‘Welcome!!‘‘ the owner yelled.
Yumi taking a bite of ramen as she instinctively looked at the entrance.
‘‘YUMI-TANN!!!‘‘ the person happily yells, forcing the customers to look his way. Well what a surprise, the Taiko Meijin is here at Ramen Ogura!
Yumi, as annoyed as ever blurts out ‘‘Chu-chu... CHUKICHI!?!?‘‘ Her chopsticks in the air as the noodles fall back in the bowl with a splash. ‘‘Speak of the devil‘‘ Sayo remarked, covering her mouth with her hand.
‘‘Y-you.. you said you were busy so you couldn‘t have dinner with me tonight!!‘‘ She yells. ‘‘Don‘t you dare take a seat next to me!! You were out with another woman, arent you!?!?!?!?‘‘
Shukichi unbotheredly sits in the chair right next to her despite her protests. ‘‘Never Yumi-tan, I already have the world‘s best traffic advisor with me. I‘d never settle for less.‘‘
He says while casually ordering a ramen. Yumi‘s posture softens, a tiny smile forming on her face. Even if she openly complains about her boyfriend to anyone, everything he does makes her want him to win all of those 7 titles.
