actually hey i watched the wicked movie the other day and i do just wanna point out a detail i especially loved and that’s how they differentiated real magic and the wizards “magic”. LOVED all of the nods to the original wizard of oz in this movie but one of my favorites was seeing how the wizard kept up his scheme. he’s a human magician! he’s a conman!! every trick he does can be explained using human standards!! while people like elphaba and madame morrible have magic that is unexplainable except within the world of oz (making things levitate, changing the weather), all of the wizards magic is through the use of projections, machinery, OR (my favorite) petty parlor tricks. you go through an entire movie of beautiful magic and sorcery and once you get to the wizard there is a distinct difference, a very human difference, and i really love how you are so quickly able to SEE that he just a man

literally when you think about....her tweet about trump wasn’t even about blm. she just hates him and saw a reason to call him out. all she did so far to support was post a fucking black tile with 13 black heart emojis and a link on her story that’s gone by now. and all of this was done a WEEK AFTER....but yk that’s enough activism for her apparently
