It half surprised Bucky to find Ortho Shroud at the door of Ramshackle that morning. He'd gotten used to the appearance of the robot adolescent. Either Ortho wanted to talk to the girls. Or… Or S.T.Y.X. had discovered something, again, and wanted him to go back to the facility to run a few more tests.
"Hello Sebastian Buchanan." The robot started.
"Hey kid. What are you here for today?" Bucky said as he leaned on the door frame.
"Brother said you need to come." Ortho looked almost apologetic as he said that. Almost.
Bucky sighed and nodded. "Give me 5 minutes."
Turning back, he went to his room and packed a bag. When he passed the kitchen again, Victor was awake, getting some coffee ready.
"Good morning!" The russian exclaimed happily as they easily switched to Russian.
"Morning," Bucky answered and paused to pick a fruit. "Listen, I need to go out for a bit. I'm not sure when I'll come back." He started, but Victor seemed to catch the drift. He was already used to Bucky randomly disappearing to the sevens know where for days.
"Don't worry, go on. Yuuri and I will take care of everything. Do svedanya!" Victor waved gently as the coffee got ready and Bucky was soon out of the door, following Ortho back to Ignihyde so they could depart.

Not even 10 minutes later, Yuuri stumbled in the living room and sat next to Victor, the Japanese lying his head on the Russian's shoulder.
"Ohayo…" Yuuri muttered, rubbing his eyes.
"Dobroye utro my love." Victor replied, gently nuzzling Yuuri's hair.
"Gross."
"Get a room."
"I'm hungry!"
Three voices interrupted.
"Good morning Yuumichka, Yuubinka, Grim." Victor got up and went to the kitchen to get breakfast ready for the rest of the inhabitants of Ramshackle. Makkachin trotted to his side. "Bucky had to go out."
"Those random trips?" Yuumi muttered. Victor hummed in agreement. Yuubi's head was on the table as she groaned.
"Now let's get ready for the day, or we'll be late." Yuuri sighed and urged the girls as soon as they were done with breakfast. "Come on Grim, I'll comb your furr."
Yuubi groaned while in the her room, dressing up and combing her hair, feeling nauseous.

Yuubi made it through half a day before she felt like collapsing. And with Bucky away, Yuubi had to call the ice skating couple as to say she'd head back to the dorm earlier.
She barely got to the dorm before she sprinted to the bathroom for a shower. Shower done, she made a bee line for her bed, where she took a nap for the next hours.

It was ten past 5pm when Victor and Yuuri were back at Ramshackle. It was never a good idea to leave the girls alone, especially if one if them was sick.
"Tadaima," Yuuri said as he picked his shoes and placed them next to the coat racket. "Hello Yuumi. Where's Yuubi?"
"Okaeri. The biohazard is still asleep in our room." Yuumi replied calmly, flipping the page of her book to finish an exercise.
"Biohazard?" Victor muttered as Makkachin ran to him and he put the leash on her.
"Yeah?" Yuumi looked up from her notebook. "She's sick and possibly contagious. Ergo, she's a biohazard."
Victor giggled and stood up again. "Okay, that was brilliant, I'll give you that. I'll go walk Makkachin then I'll get Yuubinka to the hospital. I know it's probably nothing too big, but they can run tests the doctor can't."
"I checked on her when I arrived," Yuumi said and kept writing on her notebook, "She was still asleep. Grim's curled up with her."
"Right, thank you." Yuuri nodded and went to the stairs. "I'll check on her again and tell her to dress up to go to the hospital, she's probably in her pajamas."
"She is." Yuumi muttered.
Yuuri peaked inside the door and surely, there was Yuubi on her bed, Grim curled at her feet, as she napped.
"Yuubi." He murmured and gently shook her. "You have to get dressed again, Victor will take you to the hospital as soon as he's back."
"Hm…" The girl stirred in her sleep and looked up. "Dad….?"
"No, it's Yuuri," He laughed. "Come on, you should change."
Yuubi groaned and sat up.
"Actually wait," Yuuri turned back to her, "Where's the thermometer, I want to check your temperature."
Yuubi pointed to the desk and Yuuri found the thermometer in one of the drawers.
37.9°C.
"Well that's not good," Yuuri muttered as he stood up and put the thermometer next to Yuubi. He picked up Grim and looked back at Yuubi. "Keep resting, Victor will be back in a few to take you to the hospital."
"The hospital…?" Yuubi muttered.
"Just to do some tests," he said reassuringly before turning to Grim in his arms, "Now you, come with me. Let's let Yuubi rest, I'll make you lunch."

"Divus is a godsend, letting us borrow his car." Victor said as he opened the door to Ramshackle.
It was 8:30pm when Yuubi and Victor came back from the hospital. Everything was mostly okay….
"Test results?" Yuumi asked as she stretched at the table, finishing her dinner.
"Go shower and lie down, I'll bring you dinner in a bit." Victor whispered to Yuubi, who was too tired to dispute him.
"So?" Yuuri asked.
"She tested positive for influenza B." Victor sighed as he took off his scarf and shoes and put them correctly away. "Doctor said she should stay isolated and resting for the next week. Sorry Yuumichka, you'll have to sleep in another room."
Victor looked over to Yuumi, who had already disappeared.
"Where did she go?"
Yuuri chuckled as he put on Makkachin's leash. "Probably already switching her stuff to another room. I'll go take Makkachin for a last walk."
"Okay."
"BIOHAZARD!" Yuumi shouted before she came downstairs. "Can I walk Makkachin too?"
"…..Sure."

Malleus was standing outside Ramshackle, waiting for one of the children of men to come out and talk to him. Only the shorter one came.
"Good evening child of men." Malleus started.
"Hey." Yuumi said and nodded at Malleus.
"How are you?"
"Eh, fine. I was kicked out of my own room."
"Why?" Malleus was surprised. Those skaters seemed nice enough. They wouldn't just kick Yuumi out like that, and Bucky wouldn't kick his own daughter out.
"Yuubi's sick, so she contaminated all the room. I have to sleep somewhere else." Yuumi sighed.
"Oh."
Well, that explained why the other child of men was absent.
"Well, send her my regards and best wishes." Malleus said.
Yuumi nodded and looked back at her sketchbook. They sat in silence for some time. Sometimes, talking wasn't necessary.

Three nights later, it was calm. Very calm….. In Ramshackle? That was not normal.
All the inhabitants were asleep and Bucky wasn't back yet from wherever he was.
Yuubi had been in her room for the last days. She was awake at the moment but it was so boring. Nobody was there to talk to her, Victor and Yuuri came to ask her how she was feeling, to take her temperature, yes, but it wasn't the same as sitting down and chatting. And Yuumi did talk to her. Through their phones. She wasn't going to risk getting sick.
Yuubi sighed. Another normal night, along with silence and…. A loud crash!?

Yuumi held a pan in her hand as a figure lay practically dead on the floor of the kitchen.
"Serves you right." She muttered and put the pan back in place.
Victor ran downstairs and stopped at the door, disheveled.
"What happened!?" He asked worried, as he checked Yuumi for any injuries.
"Nothing," she lied and went out of the kitchen with Victor, leaving the passed out figure behind. "I'm okay, I just saw a spider and I killed it."
"What-"
"I hit the pans when I saw it for first time, it surprised me. Let's go back to sleep."
"Okay then…." Victor muttered.

Yuuri screamed as he walked in the kitchen next morning.
"What is this!?" He yelled.
Victor walked in as quickly as he did last night.
"What- Where did THAT come from!?" He muttered.
"I don't know, I just found it!"
"Why are you yelling….." Yuumi muttered as she entered the kitchen.
"There's a body…. A horned body…"
"Oh yeah that." Yuumi said and looked away, whistling slightly.
"Yuumi." Yuuri turned to her dead serious. "Why is there a dead man in our kitchen."
"He was trying to free the biohazard." She said simply. No point in lying, the cat was already out of the bag.
Yuuri facepalmed. Of course.
The body groaned and moved and turned to move, his face visible at last.
"It's that horned guy!" Victor exclaimed "What's his name again…."
"What happened….." Malleus muttered and sat up.
"Yuumi hit you with a pan, I believe, and you spent the night on our kitchen floor. I'm sorry." Yuuri said and helped Malleus up. "Yuumi, apologize." Yuuri turned to Yuumi.
"He tried freeing the biohazard." She repeated and crossed her arms.
"Yuumichka…. You should apologise." Victor encouraged.
"Fine. Sorry." She muttered.
Malleus chuckled. Well that was interesting.
"Apologies accepted." He said and cleaned his clothes. "I should be on my way. I know some people are waiting for me." He said and disappeared in sparkles.
Yuuri sighed and looked at Yuumi.
"It was necessary. I wasn't about to have him spread whatever Yuubi has around."
Victor sighed and handed Yuumi and Yuuri a mug of coffee each.
"Thanks," Yuuri muttered and looked back at Yuumi. "We'll discuss more when Bucky comes back."
"If you wish." She said unworried. She had protected everyone, they should be thankful if anything.

"I'M FREE!" Yuubi said after another 4 days.
She ran straight to Victor and Yuuri and hugged them.
"We're sure you're not gonna pass us anything right?" Yuumi said.
"Yes, Yuubinka won't contaminate anyone, don't worry." Victor assured while Yuubi was still glued to him.
"Good." She muttered.
"Now, what did I miss?" Yuubi asked.

"We are truly sorry." Yuuri said as he bowed to Lilia. It was no secret to him and Victor how old the vice-housewarden of Diasomnia was, nor how he was Malleus' caretaker.
They only had time to meet properly now, now that everyone was fine and everything had settled down.
"Don't be," Lilia replied before turning back to Malleus. "And you! Foolish boy! Did you want everyone to get sick? Did you want Vi to get sick? Or Louis?"
Malleus gasped as he eyed the baby he was holding.
"Of course not!"
"Good, now apologize too!" Lilia said and sighed.
"I STILL THINK WE SHOULD SUE THE HUMAN! SHE ATTACKED WAKA-SAMA!" Sebek irrupted as he stood behind Malleus, the ever dutiful guard.
"SHUT UP!" Yuumi yelled back. She had accompanied Yuuri and Victor to meet Lilia and Malleus, as the skaters insisted she apologized to the fae. "You know what?" She started again. "Crocodile soup tonight!"
Sebek gasped horrified as Lilia hid a bout of laughter.
"Oh?" Victor followed suit, partaking in the teasing. "Perfect! I'm getting a new purse and boots! Always great ideas, Yuumichka!"
Sebek blinked at the humans. Lilia was on the floor laughing and Malleus pretended his attention was all on Louis, his precious godson. It wasn't far from the truth though.
Yuuri sighed embarrassed and turned to apologize again.
"YOU'RE ALL TERRIBLE!" Sebek yelled again.
"She calls it the NRC effect," Noah muttered undee his breath as he sat in the living room with everyone. He didn't care about the meeting.
Sneaky little shit.
"Shut up."
"Did you say something?" Sebek asked.
Noah looked up, almost bored, at his roommate and raised an eyebrow.
"Why would I say something to you?" He said and looked back at his notebook.

about your post of naruto and sakura shopping together. WOULD sakura try to dress naruto, force clothes on him? ya know, push him into a dressing room with some jeans or smth if all he's gonna do is annoy her
YES. naruto dresses like a raggedy gym rat running around in old ass t shirts and a sweatsuit all the time and sakura gets SICK of looking at him! if all he’s doing is following her around she’s gonna find something to make him wear!! its funny cuz she gets mad when he follows her around like she’s his mom but she ends up shoving a bunch of clothes at him to try on like a mom and she’ll jus ignore naruto if he points it out. naruto likes the attention so i think he’s pretty pliant about that stuff but he’s picky about actually buying new clothes because he likes wearing the same stuff over and over again. so sakura will be like this looks good on you! and naruto’s like yeah! and sakura’s like is it comfortable? and naruto’s like yeah! and sakura’s like are you gonna buy it? and naruto’s like haha lol nope! but the result is that sakura feels super proud when she gets naruto into something he actually wants to buy!
