12 Years old

Absolute doormat. He literally folds if either of them reach out for him. Loves them so much he needs to hype himself up to hold them because they're just so tiny and ge doesn't wanna cut them with his claws or squeeze too tight or scare them with his smile or- yeah Sadie needs to interject and hand him the baby before he spirals.

On his knees when he heard the first cry and passed out when the second cry came. Jester had to be in the room to help coach Pierrot through it while Doctor guides Sadie.

Unique traits:

Started sprouting horns when around 5 years old. Definitely a painful experience. Camila has one while Carina has two. They're in perfect sync. Unfortunately can't do the twin swap pranks because of their distinctive horns.

Harlequin

One boy.

Gabriel

10 Years old

Lenient but not neglectful. A bad influence to the kid really, coaxing him to prank his other dad's since they can't be mad at a kid. He lent Sadie his hand and let them crush his hand during contractions.

Loves the kid to death, uses his tentacles to rock him to sleep or just multitask in general. The baby loves using his tentacles when he began to teeth and Harlequin just has to endure it.

Unique traits:

Has a tail that's more tentacle like instead of having them sprout from his back like Harlequin's. Sometimes has a mind of it's own and accidentally trips over himself because of them or even pull things without realising. Must be taught about how to control his strength after accidentally dragging almost a third of the tablecloth off the table after dinner.

Jester

Two boys and one girl. (All two years apart)

Javier, Emanuel and Samara

9 y/o, 7y/o and 5 y/o

The perfect father one would say. He didn't want children at first. The circus is constantly moving, it's not a kid friendly place to be, let alone raise in. But Sadie has a steady income with her new job that allows her to get a steady income with the constant moving. Perhaps he got a bit of baby fever after the twins were initially born, but worked up the courage to ask Sadie if he could have his own.

He definitely didn't mind caring for Pierrot and Harlequin's. They were his children as much as he was their other father. You can't blame him for wanting to see a mini version of himself. Three for that matter. Ended up having three and loves each one dearly.

Unique traits:

Natural little leaders. Very helpful and smart. Javier is always by Jester's side, helping him with set repairs while Emanuel and Samara handle costume changes.

Doctor

Triplets. (One boy, two girls)

Lucian, Rose and Tulip

Of course he wasn't a fan of kids either. Too small, too fragile, too naive. But the more children the other members had the more he learned how to navigate the baby gates and not trip over toys. Maybe he initially did want a kid but didn't plan for triplets to come out.

They came out a bit differently. Because of Doctor's anatomy, Sadie birthed eggs in the span of six months instead of the initial nine with the others. All three took a few weeks to hatch, just hours apart. And good god they were so inhumanely small Sadie was genuinely worried when they only fit the palm of her hand.

Doctor had to reassure her that when he hatched he was just as tiny. (She didn't believe him one bit. LOOK AT HIM.)

Unique traits:

Grows up quick (from 3 lbs to 25 lbs in the span of a year). Their feet are more talon-like and they all have a set of wings. Lucian in particular has feather tufts on his chest while the girls have a whole collar of their own. Must teach them to preen at an early age.

Ticket Taker

4 y/o

Definitely didn't want kids. Probably the only one that had the kid as an accident since the condom ripped. He took responsibility fast, always checking in on Sadie. Keeping track of her whereabouts around the circus and what her diet consisted of. All the monsters did whenever she got pregnant but Ticket Taker was meticulous when it came to Sadie's health and his baby.

He loves his daughter dearly. Especially whenever she tries to grab for his hat. It reminds him of how Sadie teases him by taking his hat.

Unique traits:

Vitiligo, split face just like his mask. She can even hover in the air as if there was no gravity.

Poor Sadie got a fucking football team. (She loves it)

I know this probably didn't make any sense. I don't know what was going through my head when I made this to begin with aside from being bored.

Trigger warning:

Graphic description of miscarriage. Grief. Uhhh, angst and sad shit.

Harlequin and Sadie attempts to have another child together. This occurred when all ten children were present, but Doctor's hatchlings were around three years old now. She wasn't opposed to it nor enthusiastic, but she was willing.

Everyone pulled their weight, their family was protective of one another and they fared really well all these years. She intends for this to be her last child.

The first trimester was relatively normal. They've gone through this routine countless of times so everyone knew the drill by now. Ever changing diet, late night cravings, mood swings, the whole package. But along the way, in the middle of it, Sadie experiences deep abdominal pain. Not the normal kind. Not even as bad as her worst period cramps.

She seeks out Doctor immediately and he ushers her to his tent. Checking her over.

He finds that her cervix had already begun to open. Too early. It was supposed to be later. He tries to keep her calm and she's trying.

Trying to process the implication that was slowly, dreadfully, clearing and making sense at the moment even if she didn't want to believe.

Harlequin was called, he ran out in the middle of an act, bursting through the tent flap of Doctor's private tent where he sees Sadie. Just staring blankly. Doctor explains as best he can. Breaking the discovery to Harlequin gently.

The green clown tries to stay calm, trying not to show his grief, not with how Sadie looked so fragile and small. He asks Doctor to do what's best and leaves his tent abandoned the entire day. Leaving Jester and Pierrot to discover Harlequin's absence from Ticket Taker who was checking in on him when he noticed that people were leaving his tent earlier than the regular show runtime.

Sadie goes through with the miscarriage, more emotionally painful really than the real small labour. The absence of crying tore through her heart, the silence deafening, despite hoping to feel relief from the pain. She just clutches at herself tightly, painfully, angrily.

There was noone to blame here. Not even herself but she felt like she should.

Pierrot, Jester and Ticket Taker arrive after, confusion and worry as they notice Harlequin hunched over in the corner. A distance away from Sadie as she sobbed brokenly into her pillow. Once Doctor tells Pierrot, Jester and Ticket Taker, were obviously devastated.

When Sadie finally does utter Harlequin's name, he was by her side in an instant, crouching beside the bed and holding her hand tightly, only to be met with red puffy eyes and hiccuping apologies for something that was out of her control. He soothes and reassures her gently, holding her close through her grief as he was trying to stay strong for her.

The other three were unsure of how to tell the children that they may not be getting another sibling afterall...

Sadie may not have met Columbina. But she has learned the truth of her existence from Pierrot a while ago. She trusts that Columbina would look over her child in the afterlife.

YO I GAVE SADIE COLORRR

Truth be told, I don't exactly know what circus role she'd play aside from trapeze or contortionist because she is pretty flexible. But honestly, since she has stage fright, she asks Jester if she could do some active labour instead. Cleaning up after shows and behind the scenes.

She likely doesn't become humanoid again because she refuses to eat humans so she'll remain in this form until she does decide to eat humans. Human food doesn't sustain long for her but she refuses to eat anything else so she's constantly starving herself from the nutrients and ability to become humanoid from the human flesh she won't eat. Even if it were disguised as a normal steak-like dish.

She fell into a deep depression the initial first few weeks. Only sleeping in Doctor or Pierrot's tent. She doesn't want to be a burden so that's why she's usually quiet and reserved, meticulously cleaning props and helping move around supplies for them.

She only comes out to clean the rest of the circus grounds during night time when she only cleans the inside of tents after visitors leave.

Still, she isn't happy with this new life. Her new strength and height disorients her sometimes. Snapping brooms, bumping against the top of the tent's entryway and her tail accumulating dirt if she doesn't forcibly strap it around her waist like a belt.

She's trying to adapt and be as small as possible amongst the circus members.

You'd think becoming a monster just like them would make Sadie happy that she could relate to them. But all she thinks about is how to repay them and not give them any trouble if she wants to live amongst them. Acting like they'd slaughter her if she makes any mistake.

Read a What if MC/Y/N turned into a Monster drabble and I couldn't resist attempting to turn my MC-Sona Sadie into a monster.

I'm contemplating to actually give Sadie her own set of horns or not but I suppose she doesn't need any. Yet. Maybe, idfk- maybe I'll even add more details later. This is just my first concept of her monster form.

But yeah this is her waking up to realise her tanktop being too tight. One stretch and she felt her feet bump against the footboard. Looking down she finds a pair of paws in place. She reached out to touch before realising her hands were gradient claws. She scrambles out of bed, falling with more force with the way her paws scramble at the new added length and bone arrangement.

She goes to her vanity and sees her reflection in the mirror ⬇️

A snout, a pair of tusks, larger eyes and a set of floppy ears. She panics, attempting to wake herself up from the dream she's having.

Not realising her claws were so sharp and unsheathed in her panic, she accidentally scratches herself up. Seeing how blood was dripping and the searing pain was very much real she tries to calm herself and patches herself up, trying to sheath her claws so she doesn't hurt herself by accident.

She doesn't head to work, calling in sick, nor did she visit the circus despite it being the best shot of figuring out what happened to have turned her into a monster overnight. Instead sitting in her apartment, pacing, trying to get used to her new height, controling her tail from accidentally smacking something over, accidentally breaking a mug in her claws and cutting herself even more on the broke glass she patches herself up again.

She couldn't even fit in her usual clothes anymore so she resorts to buying some online, just a pair of shitty second hand hoodie and pants a size larger.

Sadie doesn't risk going outside, not wanting to alert her neighbours by accident if she walks outside, thankfully already went grocery shopping the day before so she's well stocked.

Unfortunately, when evening arrived, Sadie realised she hadn't informed Pierrot of her absence. Not wanting him to see her like this. She locks her balcony door and windows. Using cardboard boxes piled in front of it and ensuring her blinds were constantly closed. Her lights were turned off aside from the nightlight in the bedroom that was hidden enough that it doesn't reach the windows or balcony.

She makes up an excuse on the dot as she texts him first before informing the others as well. An emergency trip that's taking a few days out of town came up and she's really sorry she couldn't visit the circus for a while.

They bought it, at least she hoped they did with the understanding and well wishes from the members after she sent the message.

The next day, she keeps herself inside, peering anxiously between the curtains for a glimpse of sunlight she hadn't had since yesterday. She slinks around, still anxious and trying to make sense of this transformation. Horrified that she still woke up in this form.

Maybe I'll write more. But maybe not tonight, I need to sleeppp
