Mmm, tiny bit of WIP spoilers. But once Hinoka leaves Nohr in Bridging the Sky I’d planned for the next arc to be a reunion with Ikona. One wherein many questionable things are unearthed about Hoshido’s culture/history (and Mikoto stays shady, because of course).
T: Any fanfic tropes you can’t stand?
Affairs/cheating, especially when said established relationship is just a roadblock to the protag’s “true love”, just ew. Break up with whomever and THEN pursue the other person, ya jerk!To a degree this extends to Polyamorous romance being inclusive to all the elements. Like… There was a short smut fic I read that was supposedly a Felix/Ingrid/Sylvain threesome, but the entire time Felix just thought about how much he wanted to be with Syl instead of Ing (latter being a previously establish partner) and I wanted to crawl out of my own skin by the end, I was so not into that.
U: Is there a pairing you would like to write, but haven’t tried yet.
As I mentioned in a previous post- Jin/Lora from Torna+ Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Mostly cause their canon chemistry pretty much pushes all my like buttons (spunky fight girl and battle husband who’d rather be house husband) it’s almost not fair. I had an idea for an AU where Lora becomes a Blade Eater with Jin and all the questions around if that screws over the core crystal, ect. And I’ve gotten some fluff ideas… just haven’t found the time to type anything up.
