I don't remember who half of these cats are but um lesbian Zelda :eyes:

This will be a very slow-moving series, as I haven't got the energy or time to do much on it.

ok so my cats are very large, zeevy is super big and pretty fat, but zephyr is just large, big boned and muscley. but I got a picture today that makes zephyr look like hes a kitten. I showed dit to my dad like look hes so small. and my dad was like "well he was very small as a kitten. how old is that picture?"

2nd picture is him on top of zeevy, 3rd is zeevy on the stairs. although none of these are great for scientifically accurate measurements of my cats.

Ok ao my family has 3 cats. Zoe, Ze'ev, and Zephyr (used to be 4, but zekie has since passed). Zephyr is mine, he was acclimated to the house through my bathroom a couple years ago. But hes always been super attached to Ze'evy, whos our middle cat in age, like so:

Always together. Glued to his side. Zephyr (gray) is suuuuuper anxious. Doesn't let anyone brush him except me, howls as if in agony whenever his claws are trimmed, gets spooked by the doorbell, etc.

But about a month or two ago, Ze'evy stopped letting Zephyr glomm onto him like a stubborn barnacle. I work an 8-4 job, so i was asking my parents a lot what was going on with Zephy baby boy that was making him so reactive and cuddly, and after a couple weeks, I got a "well Ze'evy isnt letting him cuddle with him as much" from my stepmom and I was like. Duh. And I said that might be it. And so it is.

Im spoiling my boy crazy style. I carry him up the stairs every night, and whisper to him if he needs to be quiet on the stairs (yowling howler) and he usually is. I brush him in my office chair because everyone needs a little routine, and when i go to bed I set a contrasting throw blanket halfway off of me towards the wall so he feels contained without being trapped.

The wonderful thing is that he loves belly rubs and being petted weird (wrong way, scruffle the fur, wet hands)(i had my parents start petting him with wet hands as an alternative to brushing him, and he loves it)

Im also training him to be ok with being moved! When hes happy , ill reposition him for no reason, and keep petting him to show him its ok. Hes doing great, and my parents have said hes been way more ok with it.

Im really happy I have my baby boy, and honestly carrying him up to my room every night has been helping me to enforce routine on myself a little. Soon he might let his nails be clipped, and I'm making progress toward brushing my teeth every day!
