8. Did they romance anyone? Who's the lucky companion(s)?

Fenric: Yeeeees and it's Astarion. They are a chaotic little duo and the rest of the camp lowkey finds it rather annoying when they try to outfox each other but it's all in the spirit of romance <3 Zalith: Gale <3 though Wyll did catch some feelings there. Zal just has this natural gravity that pulls people in despite them not being aware of it. Because deep down they've got a good heart.

19. When talking to people, which sort of answers do they go for? Eager to help, sassy and sarcastic, apathetic?

Fenric: Mmm sarcastic to the max. Mx. Devil's Advocate, Mx. Steal Yo Girl. Will go from hot to cold based on what they ate for lunch that day. Zalith: Is more apathetic, but easily gives in to offer help. They have more pressing matters to deal with but can't ignore people in need. Their conversations are rather succinct because they're just trying to move on with their day.

23. Did your Tav's dream visitor manifest as anyone in particular, or someone random that they've never seen before?

Fenric: Just some random guy they thought was hot like a century ago LMAO Zalith: Ok... honestly I didn't know how I wanted to design the Guardian before I started Zal's run, but now that I've spent more time with them, their dream visitor looks like their mother actually. They've been very distrustful of their little guest from the beginning, and part of it is some deeply harbored ill emotions that have for their mother leaving. They've basically been doing the opposite of everything the Guardian has told them to do. And Zal does their best to be civil but the more time the visitor pops up, the more annoyed and curt they get with the visitor.

29. After Baldur's Gate is saved, what will your Tav do?

Fenric: Fen likely decides they've had enough of the pact after tasting freedom with the tadpole, so they're dead set on figures out how to get out of the pact. Also, I do like the idea floating around of finding the Ring of the Sun-Walker for Astarion. So they both set out on another adventure to find the answers to their quests together. Zalith: Zal would set out to right their wrongs. It's been a few months since being attacked in Baldur's Gate by those mercs and losing track of Symon... though they have been doing their own investigation into his whereabouts since they returned to the city. Gale helps them--he'd follow Zal anywhere--and they both make their way back to the viscounty so that Zalith can get closure. Afterwards, they both settle down in Waterdeep... Zal as a member of the Dekarios clan :')

20. Does your Tav have a best friend in the party? What's their dynamic like?

Fenric: Astarion... friends, rivals, lovers, gossipers, pranksters--they will do everything and anything together so long as they can enjoy the chaos that ensues. Fenric is prone to act spontaneously, always curious about the machinations of people's minds/ways of thinking, and rather expressive with their emotions. Astarion's charisma combined with that hidden edge naturally drew them in, but he wasn't prepared for how picked apart Fen would leave him... even though he's seen it real time with strangers they've encountered on the road. And even though sometimes they first started off finding each other annoying, they eventually found respect for one another, trusted the other enough to open up about their pasts. Not long after they became rather protective of one another and catching feelings, despite wanting to feel the very opposite. hehe Zalith: Gale! Zal didn't think too much about their party at first, even for the wizard that they pulled out of a rock. Zalith isn't really the smartest cookie on the block, but is a good judge of character. So when Gale asked for help, it was a no-questions-asked sort of deal, life-threatening? anything to keep us alive. Overtime, Zal actually grew to enjoy someone's company again--and was more than happy to listen to Gale talk about everything and anything. They became each other's confidante, listened to each other's stories about their families and the people who impacted their lives. Their relationship always had an underlying sense of security from the beginning but slowly built its way into something more.

6. Any scars or facial tattoos? How did they get them?

Fenric: yes & yes-ish. Fenric has been an "adventurer" on and off for a couple of decades so they have the scars to show for it. And "adventurer" is quite a... loose term for what they've had to do to survive the pact they've made with the Night Serpent. As for tattoos, the large marking they have on their face is a result of when the Night Serpent tried to devour them. Zalith: yes & no. Zalith has some freshly healed scars along their forehead after getting into a scuffle with some mercs in Baldur's Gate. The fight ended with Zalith unconsious on the ground, a gash on their forehead, and a broken horn.

7. Typical party lineup?

Fenric (warlock): Astarion, Lae'zel, Shadowheart Zalith (paladin): Gale, Wyll, Astarion.

14. What was your Tav's life like before they got kidnapped by the mindflayers?

Fenric: Fen was a wandering body who had found themself in Baldur's Gate before the attack. They were growing tired of the pact they had trapped themself in with Dendar, but something had drawn them both to the city. It was a center growing with fear and feeding Dendar the nightmares she craved. Fen couldn't escape the city because of it, but at least they didn't have to inflict horrors on anyone while they were essentially trapped. Zalith: Zal was the main personal guard to the Embereye heir (Symon). Zalith had risen to knighthood but they were hand-picked by the Viscount to keep the heir safe in inter-city travels. They had accompanied Symon to Baldur's Gate as liaison of Triboar in place of the Viscount before Zal was kidnapped by the mindflayers. And well... the kidnapping wasn't the only thing that went wrong in Baldur's Gate.

22. Who was your Tav's family? Did they have any?

Fenric: Fen had a very small family--them & their parents. Their father--Vicenas Firdew--was a high half-elf from Amn, and their mother--Lledrith Baenre--is a seraldine drow that escaped Menzoberranzan. The little family of three settled in Athkatla, even though their mother was gifted with arcane talents. Lledrith disappeared from their life when Fenric was early-20s (they spent the next few decades trying to find her), and Vicenas died from old age not too long before Fen arrived in Baldur's Gate. Zalith: Zal was orphaned around their teenage years. Their father--Kythus Rathis--was a blacksmith that was routinely commissioned by one of the Viscount Embereye of Triboar. Their mother--Briza-- was a healer & apothecary in the town, but eventually got caught up in some trouble and left in the end. Kythus died almost a year later from an illness. With no family left, Zal was taken in by the Embereyes who were kind-hearted people... but Zal felt like they had a duty to repay their kindness and joined their guard when they came of age.
