Scared wasn’t even the right word to describe the way her heart raced and pounded against her chest the moment she woke up. Such a horrible nightmare and she couldn’t even remember what it was about. Normally when she had such nightmares, she stood up playing video games, but this night she found herself wanting to find comfort in another way.

When she left her room and knocked on the door of the mechanic, she hadn’t expected him to even answer the door in the first place. At first she stood there simply shaking and unsure of what she should say. She hadn’t even realized she spoke until he responded to her and answered a sentence she hadn’t realize she said.

“Thank you..--”

Chiaki stepped into his room and buried her face in his chest, shaking her head from side to side. At least he was here by her side now and the fear she had was slowly fading away. It was strange how she could feel better simply being by his side and his words definitely helped feel better as well.

Once her game system started acting up and she didn’t know how to fix it herself, she knew the one person who would be able to help her out. Bright gaze searched around for that yellow suited mechanic who would be the savior to her. It was proving to be rather difficult to find him though and she was going to just give up.

Chiaki stood under the doorframe as she panted slightly, not used to much moving around. Bangs shifted slightly when she heard her name being called and the very person she’d been looking for was now in front of her. She didn’t know what gaming god she’d been blessed by today, but it was her lucky day.

“Kazuichi, I was looking for you. I need yo..--”

Before she could say anything else, a yelp from the male shocked her as she jumped back slightly only to follow his shaking finger. Eyes widened slightly as her own cheeks colored a bright pink color that almost mirrored his dyed hair. She shifted slightly, hands quickly shifting down as she looked off to the side, brow furrowed in slight thought.

This was much like one of those dating games she often played whenever she had nothing else to play. She wasn’t the best at them, but this was far too similar to such a situation. What was she supposed to do? Was she just supposed kiss him or was he meant to kiss her?

“Should.. we pretend that we didn’t unless..?” She would be fine with whatever he chose, but it seemed wrong to go against such a tradition. Then again it was her first time under the mistletoe with anyway in the first place. “I’m f-fine with whatever.” A slight stutter followed by an embarrassed gaze shot back towards him.

And without giving him any other further reaction, the small rabbit finds herself immediately sitting on his lap and resting her cheek against his chest. Arms soon found their way around his chest as her ears drooped slightly. It was incredible how the warmth of his body made her feel so comfortable without even having to do anything else other than simply be there for her.

“School was hard and my classmates are idiots.”

College wasn’t a cake walk and that was something she knew would just have to get used to, but still having to work on a group project with people who refused to help with any part of it? It was ridiculous how people still acted this way despite no longer being in high school. Did they really have no cares in the world then?

This presentation was meant to be half their grade and they acted as if it didn’t really matter! She had worked far too hard to have a bunch of lazy idiots pull her down. She’d done everything in her power to contact her group, but they found it hard to respect such a small herbivore and even the teacher seemed uncaring of her situation.

“Just stay here with me...-” Though she knows she doesn’t really need to say something like that to him because he’ll do it despite her saying it or not, but still she can’t help herself. She knows he’s busy and probably tired from work, but she wanted to vent a bit and be allowed to cuddle with her warm, very warm by the way, boyfriend,

When he asked her to dance, this was definitely not what she expected to happen. He had been consistently surprising her, but this was just getting ridiculous by all these skills he was magically learning without her even knowing. The fur around her cheeks fluffed up slightly as she gripped onto him, her feet taking the smaller steps that a herbivore of her height was known to take.

She worried that he would struggle to dance with him, but somehow he knew exactly how to move and at what pace they should be going. It must be uncomfortable to dance with someone who was so much smaller, but he was makign it seem as if it were the easiest thing in the world. It was rather shocking to her, but she knew she shouldn’t be so surprised when it came to anything he did.

“You just keep surprising me...--”

Her voice is quiet as she looked towards him, eyes curiously watching him lean in closer to her. She was unsure as to what he was planning on doing with how closely he was moving to her, but she found herself not really caring about such a thing either.

Slowly, Haru found herself leaning up closer to him, stepping on her tip-toes while she continued to follow his movements of swaying from side to side, still following the beat of the song. Whatever his plan was, it was something that she simply knew would be something she would be okay with.

Nose twitched slightly as she stared up at the wolf in front of her, hands quickly reaching up to grab hold of his hands. If he kept growing like this would she truly be able to handle whatever newfound confidence he obtained? It was bad enough for her heart whenever he had these spur of the moment alpha moments, but if he truly learned how to successfully woo her without embarrassing himself then she truly would be in danger.

Still, it made her rather happy that no matter what he always found a way to make her feel good about herself. Calling her even more beautiful than the flower she tended to? Some part of her found it rather difficult to believe, but still she knew that he wasn’t one to lie simply to make someone feel better about themselves. That wasn’t the type of person he was and she truly appreciated it.

Haru quickly pulled herself closer to him as she buried her face in his stomach, a soft chittering of happiness passing her lips. It wasn’t as if she were hiding such a noise, but still it made her rather flustered. She was meant to be the one who took charge, wasn’t she? So how was it possible that this lanky and awkward wolf could make her feel such a way.

“You’re growing so much.” A small pout, but still one that only comes from her embarrassment at not being able to keep in pace with the potential confidence spurt he was going through.

Lips parted to speak, but nothing came out as her hand fell back down from her chest to her side. Naturally she had so much she wanted to say to him, but there was always something that stopped her. She couldn’t explain it no matter how hard she tried to wrap her mind around it.

A light sigh passed her lips as fingers twitched slightly, gripping at the fabric of her skirt. Perhaps her actions would be far more vocal than her words would ever be. Finally she released her skirt and took a step closer to him, hand reaching out to gently grab hold of his. Once held, she intertwined their fingers before casting her gaze off to the side.

“I..” Yet another pause as she swallowed her anxiety down and gave his hand a light squeeze. No, there was no sense in being shy around him when she had confessed so much to him already. Still how could she be faulted when he was so close to her, yet felt so far away. “I enjoy being by your side.”

“I guess you’re pretty reliable, huh Kishinuma?”

Ayumi had been left on cleaning duty alone given the person who had been tasked to help her had suddenly fallen ill. As class president she knew that the duty fell on her and it wasn’t as if it bothered her much, but she knew it would just take longer to do what needed to be done.

Before she could even get started cleaning though, Yoshiki had entered the classroom and immediately set to work on fixing up the desks. It caught her off guard, but the way her lips curled into a small smile was evidence enough at how grateful she was that he had come around to help. She wouldn’t say it aloud, but truly the action was appreciated.

“Excuse me, do you think you could help me out..?” The petite succubus looked over to the male with a curious glint in her eyes. Her short stature was something she was rather comfortable with, but she knew that with it came it’s own set of issues. She knew that she could simply change it by changing her appearance, but she rather liked being this short.

Slender digits lightly tug on the male’s shirt before she raised a hand up and pointed at the box of sweets just out of reach of her hands. She wanted help with reaching it and normally she felt a bit worried about asking for help and bothering someone else, but she was desperate. How else would she get her sweet fix after all?
