I feel like ixol is really misunderstood, it makes me feel bad for him :(

He IS misunderstood! He’s genuinely done nothing wrong, he just likes having fun in a chaotic and. Violent way! His personality is literally the fact he’s mentally insane and he just enjoys the things he does!

He gets angry easily but for the state of mind he’s in, of course he would! Cyalm fucking killed the voices in his head, in which at the time were his ONLY FRIENDS! He’s dealt with so much shit and trauma and there is no reason anyone should discriminate who he is!

I have two schizophrenic friends, one who’s an Ixol kinnie and one who is literally Ixol. Second person does believe Ixol has schizophrenia, but since I don’t have enough info on schizophrenia, I don’t really have a say on it other than the fact it would make sense.

What I mean to say is, Ixol is Ixol and there’s no reason why he should ever be mistreated for who he is

Ah! I don’t think it counts as canon anymore since Sir Rover said AFVR was cancelled, but all of Ixol’s voices are actual people who lived in Noxron(?). Noxron was a dimension in which Ixol’s friends lived in, which could probably be Ixol’s mind. You also meet Ombre there and there’s a possibility they and Ixol may know one another!
