More Girlaffe -- her name is Zarifa now.
In honor of Good Omens season 2, and the ever-approaching publication of The Lunewell Saga - Natura I present Lottie as Crowley and Zarifa as Aziraphale (:
You've been visited by the random OC question fairy! :D ~☆
Who does your character trust? Who do they NOT trust? Why?
Ooh, yay! I’m going to use Zarifa from The Lunewell Saga - Natura for this (:.
She’s generally pretty skeptic to most people, both from past childhood experiences of being the ‘weird’ kid, and from her introversion, so there’s generally not a lot of people she trusts.
However, Zarifa did find some people (read: family) who she can actually trust. Their researcher and antique manager, Bruin, and their antique hunter Grant.
She mostly trusts these two because of their shared experiences with the more unattractive, creppy, inhuman side of existence.
In Her Hands
So I am writing this after seeing NOTHING about Massoum on the internet. This documentary is good, hard but good. I see critiques that feel like it was an "attempt" or "misguided." But I think it is realistic for a slice of life for a 26 yo women in Afghanistan. It's difficult to watch because she is a HUMAN. She is not perfect and she is still figuring things out like any 26 yo. A big example is the sudden break from Massoum was not ideal for a documentary as it made the protagonist not "pure and good". I bet the two are about the same age. He seemed like a beautiful soul, a rose growing in concrete. Although I hate how things ended between them they both were in charge of their families at that point. Zarifa felt like her fathers death was on her and she had to look after her mother and ALL of her siblings who were freaking planning how they'd commit if they were captured!!! So I don't fault her. Massoum had a daughter that he had to survive for whatever it took, despite this I never felt he truly changed his principles. Which I admired despite him being left in hell. I wish them all the best and if anything the movie showed that there are both men and women who could lead Afghanistan to a better future.
No one can tell when you may require some quality presents for representatives. Those work commemorations, appreciation days, and surprisingly formally calendared gift-giving occasions will quite often surprise we all. https://www.zarifausa.com/pages/christmas-gift-for-your-work-team
4 for the ask game?
Hiya Vivian! Thank you so much for the ask, and hope you have a lovely day (:! I’ll be answering this with my Natura cast
4. Imagine that your protagonist dies at the climax of the story. How does it continue without them?
If Zarifa were to die at the climax, a lot would change. Without spoiling anything too major in the actual climax, I can say that the entire group would fall apart, as they lost the one thing glueing them togheter.
Lottie was only there to help and protect Zarifa, and wouldn’t give a fuck what happened now that she’d lost her best reason to keep on living.
Valour and Leigh didn’t care much in the first place, and would probably just continue having tea and enjoying the universe til it ended. Grant would join them in this, kick-starting his inclusion and the evolution of their friendship (something that wasn’t set to happen til much later on in the series)
There’s no way Bruin would be able to stop the forces of nature on his own, and so the world would crumble and end.
