I was just thinking about all the times I try to invite the friends I’ve made through this blog/my discord etc to play Overwatch, and that one awkward stretch of 10-15 seconds that ALWAYS takes place on the hero select screen, where everyone knows I’m probably gonna pick Zarya so they don’t. When I’m with new friends and we hit our first hero select, that pause is always there. It’s cute.
I can UNDERSTAND IT... I’m not calling you babs out. Like I’ve said hundreds of times, having a hero name for your btag comes with jokes, entitlement from other hero mains (coughhanzoinstalockedalmosteveryquickplayiqueueintocough), and above all, people who actually get angry if you don’t play the hero you’re named after all the time.
I’m just saying sometimes I want to play with the graviton, instead of having mine played with all the time. I want to огонь по a few готовностиs once in a while.
So if you’re reading this, my group buddy, go ‘head and instalock Zarya and make me play something else. Remind me that I’m playing Overwatch, not Zarya’s second-person shooter.
