As the doors open, there's a skeleton with ears and a tail carrying a large box. There's two bitties on her left shoulder as well, the smaller one hiding behind the other. "He-hello. I'm Z-Zeda, and th-these a-are my bitties, J-Jewel and O-Orchid. W-We have a d-donation fo-for h-here." She says, smiling. As the box is opened, there's crocheted blankets and plenty of pillows, as well as some food from the @wonderland-isles.
At first, there didn’t seem to be anyone present in the small-ish front room, the space lit by a simple ceiling globe that cast a pleasant golden glow over the space. It looked like the room might have been two smaller rooms once upon a time, with some odd bits of wall jutting out where there might have been a door in the past, but the space was currently opened up and seemed to serve as a sort of combination lounge and waiting room. The one major constant throughout the area asides from the mismatched furniture and a sizable coffee cart, was the flattened rails that were installed on every wall surface at shoulder height, sturdy miniature rope and wood ladders descending from the rails at regular intervals.
Before one could move to really investigate the room, there was a heavy THUD as something large jumped down onto a lower surface, and there was a muffled cry from beyond one of the two doors that exited the room before there was further muffled noise that sounded like it might have been swearing from the tone. Another moment, and there was the distinct rhythm of rushing footsteps right before the door towards the middle of the room was yanked open.
“Hi! Sorry to keep you waiting! I didn’t hear the bell…”
The human appeared to have been in the middle of baking, their long brown hair pulled back from their face in a messy low bun and their hands and face dusted with flour, a bit of what might have been butter smudged on their nose. They were in the middle of trying to wipe themselves clean with a somewhat ratty looking dishtowel as they came forward, the door dangling open behind them a moment before the handle glowed a soft purple and closed itself.
“Right, ah, well! I’m Cell and, welcome to Still Here Recovery Center and Sanctuary! What are we up to today?”
Copper-brown eyes quickly scanned over the skeleton Monster, taking in the cardboard box and the two bitties looking nervous but comfortable on their shoulder perch. Their face lit up with a smile at the stuttering reply, and the Monster would very likely feel a sudden rush of happiness from the human’s green SOUL all but gushing the emotion.
“You brought a donation?! Omigosh, you’re only the second one we’ve ever got, thank you so much!”
Despite their obvious excitement, Cell kept a respectable distance and waved Zeda over to a nearby loveseat where they could set down their box. The furniture was obviously old, probably second if not third hand, but it had been repaired and looked to be quite a cozy spot if one wanted to take a seat.
“I have to admit, you’re our first Monster visitor. It’s mostly humans dropping by with questions or bitties in need of help. Uhm, pardon me if this comes off as rude, but do your bitties need anything? I noticed they’re looking a bit nervous…”
