Into the Fire {Zelo x Sunny}

Choi Junhong rarely ever spoke of his military activities. He didn’t really have people to do it with. That was until he met her. Sunny had since become his reliable confidante; someone he could depend on in times of personal need because even his parents weren’t fully aware of his role in the military anymore. The less they knew the better for them. He was playing a dangerous game of hide and seek in Zone X and at times that was a burden not easily carried. No one could understand better than her. Although you wouldn’t necessarily call them close or intimate friends they had developed an easy camaraderie that was both satisfying and fun. He really enjoyed spending time with the lovely noona. She had come to his aid in many occasions when the cows were in need of medical attention or when his chickens were having a hard time producing eggs. She was an excellent animal care-giver which, for Zelo, was incredibly admirable.

It was another such day when she had come over to check up on his animals. This time it was to look over young Cosmos, one of his female pigs, who was currently very pregnant. Once the check-up had been done and everything deemed to going normal Zelo could relax and offered the woman to come into the farm house for some fruits and milk. It was a bit of a habit of his to invite her in every time she came around. Unless she was busy, they usually hung out until they had to get back to their duties for the rest of the day. This time they were playing around in the living room area on the first floor of the two story farm house. “Yah! Noona!! Stop! You know I’m super ticklish! You’re gonna make me cry!!” He was trying to escape the woman’s evil clutches as they had somehow ended up in the middle of a tickle war. A military woman’s fingers were no joke, ok?! She could poke him until the entirety of his core muscles hurt from the incessant laughter. “Hey, hey!” He attacked back with equal fervor poking wherever his long fingers could reach, which was a lot considering his arm length was superior to that of his noona’s.

"Can we please go back to the topic at hand?!" Before this whole ordeal had started they were discussing the possibility of him being sent on a breaking and entering mission into Firefly territory. He dreaded the idea of going anywhere near that organization's HQ. Especially by himself. Despite his military affiliations he was actually very content living the simple life of a farmer and helping out in Zone X. That his life's mission, to help. He didn't want to purposefully walk into a wasps nest. Or well, more like a Firefly swarm. "This is serious!" But he couldn't stop laughing nonetheless.

Star Struck {Zelo & Eunji}

It was one of his rare days off. It seemed like he worked around the clock these days and his body was growing extremely tired. His parents had pretty much forced him to take a break. 'At least for one day!' his mother had pleaded. Of course, Zelo could not say no to his beautiful mother so he promised to take a day off once he had finished the extension on the chicken coops. His little project had lasted a bit longer than he had wanted but thankfully his father had given him a helping hand. It was great to have a carpenter as a dad when you ran a farm. Because of his father's help he had been able to finish it off and proceed with resting.

Due to his heavy schedule recently it was hard for Zelo to cope with so much free time. He had no idea what to do, where to go or how to actually rest. He was still young after all and he had a lot of energy to spend. Thus he decided his best bet was to grab his precious skateboard and explore. Even though he had been in Zone X for over a year now there were still parts of the quarantine zone he had yet to explore. With this idea in mind he set off for a roll around the outer parts of the Zone. He thought that if he followed the inside of the wall he would be able to explore new areas and get to know the outline of Zone X a lot better. This would also help him in his mission as military agent so it was a win-win situation.

An hour or so later he found himself lacking good road to ride his skateboard on so he unmounted, grabbed it and kept walking. "I've definitely not been here before." The vegetation in this area was a bit wilder than back near his farm and house. He also noticed an increment in wild dogs. It didn't seem like this was a concurred area. Zelo's curiosity lead him to walk through the overgrown grasses until he stepped out onto mild clearing. In the middle of it all was a factory building. "Woah..." It was of a considerable size and despite it's decrepit appearance it seemed to be stable. "Cool." Zelo mounted his skateboard again, rolling over towards the building. Once at the entrance he peaked inside through a few gaps on the walls. "Hello?" He yelled. "Anybody here?" Better safe than sorry. He had one too many bad experiences of people sneaking around and almost getting their heads blown by friendly fire. "HELLO?" The echo of his own voice amused him so he started chuckling. "Hello, hello, hellohellohellohelloHELLO!" Sometimes he was so easily amused.

One of Those Days {Zelo & Hyeri}

Life, as they say, is tough. And then we die. Well today wasn't the time to die, but life was still tough. Not only did he have a whole lot of hauling done that day but on top of that he had to chase away predators from the farm. Stupid bandits... Zelo could be a deceiving little fox though. He might look like he only thinks of daisies and sunshine but he has training, drive and attitude too. He also almost got killed today but that's something no one needs to know. I got him good. In the end he was victorious and that's all that matters. Not only did he have to deal with bandits trying to steal his eggs today but he also had to deal with the freaking spiders in the chicken coop. GOD! I hate them! And to top it all off the cows made a whole on the fence... again. Could this day get any worse?!

That's why Zelo thought it would be a good idea to just relax the rest of the afternoon. Yes, that had all happened during the morning. He wanted to not think about problems, not think about fights, not think about demented people in their zone. He just wanted to breathe. And who else to give him a breath of fresh air than his adorable noona. He was on his way to the hospital hoping to catch her as she left. In his hands he carried a small basket with some fruit and bread he had gotten from the ahjumma at the farm for helping with the bandit problem.Once he made it to the hospital he asked for her and was told she was almost done with her work thus would probably be coming down any minute now so Zelo decided to sit down and wait at the foyer. He looked into his basket and smiled. "I'm sure she'll love these."
