This is my first #BEA15 book review and how appropriate since I read I read it while waiting in line. This was my first Muth book and I LOVED it! The story includes zen parables, great morales, and really beautiful watercolors. It councils patience, persistence, friendship, and working together rather than against each other. I highly recommend it for those who like morale tales, Aesop fables, and eastern folklore. I definitely want to read Muth’s other books now as well and I’m certain this will be a book I’ll be giving out for years to come.
