first of all, thank you so much for sending this ask submission, it truly made my day. it means a lot to know that Next Door had someone hooked and invested enough to look forward to the next chapter. ˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶

to address the elephant in the room, Next Door is currently on pause. i’m not yet entirely sure whether i’ll be continuing it, and that’s for a few reasons. one of the main ones is that I’ve been getting quite a bit of feedback / DMs lately from people who didn’t exactly enjoy it. which, i suppose is the nature of writing a love triangle kind of fic.

i completely understand different opinions, but i’ve started to feel like the story might not be reaching my target audience, and in some cases, i feel like its making people feel weird about the dynamic. ʕ>⌓<ʔ

in which case, i decided to take a pause for now while i think it over. i don’t want to say i'm certain of it but i also can’t say for sure that i’ll pick it back up yet.

anyways, your message genuinely warmed my heart just by reading it ! and reminded me that there are readers who connected with it. so truly, thank you for taking the time to say this. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔっ♡
