1961 Zenith Royal 2000

This is the radio I’d hoped I could keep, but I have to sell it along with the rest.  The most awesome one I collected, as far as I’m concerned.  Plays hotter and better and picks up more stations than any other.  Runs on 8 “D” cells, and they last forever.  Here’s the listing...somebody give it a new home:

This is the impressive-sounding Zenith Z434W, “The Glissando”, in walnut-veneer Danish Modern cabinet FM/AM table radio, from 1968-69.  Zenith’s solid-state replacement for their “flagship” tubed table radio models.  This radio totally blew me away as far as how it sounds: I’d expected it to be rather anemic, but nope.  the bass on this is incredible.  Rigid cabinet, aperiodic back vent, big speaker, all adds up to unexpectedly good bass!
