Hyde and Jackie not only brought the best of each other, they inspired the other to do and be better for themselves and destroyed clichés like opposite attracts by showing how similar they were where it really mattered and how this only made them stronger as a couple.

Taking away the bullshit from season 7 and 8, you think Jackie and Hyde would had been together long enough to get married, have kids and never divorce?

I actually do, yes. 

Hyde wanted to marry her, it was the way she approached him with the idea that went so wrong. Had she accepted that she needed him to be ready at his own time, things would had gone different.

What Jackie wanted was to know if they had a future together, and she should had gone to him with this idea, not an ultimatum for him to give her some ring he can’t even pay. I believe Jackie knew this since the beginning, but the writers decided to make her out of character and make that mess.

The kids matter is another story. I believe Jackie would want to be a mom, she expresses the idea several times in the show. As for Hyde, I don’t actually think he would even– think, about the possibility of having children. I don’t actually see him as a father.

But, at the same time, I think he would. Eventually. And I also think he would be a great father. He has plenty of characteristics that may shape him into a good father, and having to co-parent with Jackie would probably help him to get there, too.

I don’t see them divorcing, because I believe they are each other’s ‘It’, their soulmates if you want to get cheesy. If they get married or not, as long as they are together, they will be together until death makes them apart.
