An independent priestess that aims to live to the fullest every day. Her cheery and seemingly-airheaded nature is nearly unshakeable. She attributes her best moments as being bestowed by the god she worships.

More intelligent than she lets on.

Came to Darkwick before Mina, but was enrolled as an "Honour Student" after her.

There is a shrine dedicated to her god in the cathedral.

She can see ghosts, but never interacted with them before in such a way that made her aware of this ability.

Her handwriting is a bit messy. She can write neatly if she goes slowly though.

She has a Youtube channel called "NyssiNii~", but only has a few hundred followers. She posts dance and song covers typically, though she hasn't posted in a while.

She wants to be a dancer, and has practiced many different types of dance styles.

She has a cane that she uses for the occasional “leg cramps”. She doesn’t use it outside of the cathedral though.

There’s a rumour she’s dating Yuri Isami because of how often they meet up. (<-Has nothing to do with me shipping them.)

Holding her artifact appears to cause her to see brief glimpses of up to 60 seconds in the future.

Secrets:

She is suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, and has been for several years. She was unable to afford proper treatment before coming to Darkwick, and could barely walk on her own when they found her.

Because of the damage the disease had already done to her body, she’s aware that the next flare-up or seizure could be her last.

Yuri is convinced that the cause of her disease is anomalous in nature, but can’t figure out what exactly is causing it. He is still struggling to find a cure for her, but has at least made some breakthroughs to help curb her symptoms.

Nyssi felt close to Mina because she figured after her own time in Darkwick was up, she’d go back to having no treatment and also be at risk of death. She’s essentially put herself on the same one-year deadline, though ofc understands their circumstances are much different.

If she peers through her looking-glass artifact, it will show her a vision of what the future looks like for the person/surroundings in front of her. The future is always changing.

Nyssi has jokingly talked about becoming a ghoul with Mina, but between her suspicions and visions, she’s beginning to seriously consider making a demonic pact to cure her illness and try to become a ghoul to help everyone. In her eyes, she has nothing really to lose anyways.

Zenji is aware of the things Nyssi has been seeing, and knows she’s growing uneasy over it. If he notices her start to act irrationally, he may warn Mina before Nyssi can do anything drastic.

The glimpses of the future that she sees are much more frequent than she's revealed, but the majority of them are mundane.
