Crafting little pelts out of scrap fabric I've been holding on to for awhile now! I'm having so much fun with this.

Circular economy spans from residential communities to industrial sectors
Shanghai is moving from simple recycling towards operating a zero-waste circular economy. Household recycling is up to 45% due to mandatory sorting requirements and industrial recycling is nearing 98%. Recycled items include everything from aluminum to kitchen waste to industrial and medical waste.
Glass can be recycled forever without getting weaker or dirtier. That means most glass ever made could still be melted down and reused perfectly today.

“I’m wearing a zero waste outfit by JRAT and whimsical toad bag from Windywillow. This outfit is from JRAT’s newest collection Pretty Ugly Princess which allows the wearer to explore clashing prints: unique approaches to upcycling and to wear words that we were once called as an insult but to now reclaim with pride (I chose the “weirdo” sash!). My style is inspired by wherever my imagination goes on the day: I love everything whimsical and wonderful: I love looking like I could cast a spell at any minute. I love bringing whimsical inner-child imagination into adult style and being unafraid to have fun with it.”

Y'all look at my quilt, I finished it last night and I'm unreasonably proud of it.
I've been working on this on and off for like 15 years, slowly adding pieces as my jeans wore out and I changed my mind about what I wanted it to look like. It won't win any prizes at the fair but it doesn't need to, it's meant to be cozy and utilitarian.
It's not even that thick but it's heavy af, it'll be so nice once the weather cools down.
Buying second hand is punk!
Upcycling is punk!
Selling/donating old shit is punk!
DIYing is punk!
My boss is using AI to make all the new fabrics for her next collection.... Please consider supporting my work in any way you can so I don't have to do this 9-5 forever, I really want to get out of it by next year but I don't know if that's possible anymore.
Anything helps, sharing and spreading my work is hugely helpful. My work is (VERY CLOSE TO) zero waste and the planet is my top priority. Thanks guys
