i'm not gonna lie, i saw this ask right before i clocked into work, and i've been thinking about it theee whole day (also apologies for not replying sooner, ya girl was Busy today. capital B).
my thing is, there are so many characterisations of oscar, and i enjoy quite a lot of them, so it's honestly hard to say exactly what he would be into.
if we are talking about him reading landoscar fics specifically, i think the most obvious one would be something that would accentuate the age difference between him and lando. so, for example:
time travel fics where younger oscar meets much older lando
fics where lando is aged up for whatever reason to fit the plot (think, sugar daddy lando, professor/student fics, anything of that sort)
(alternatively, he could just straight up be reading oscmark fics. much to ponder on. exploring that concept could be another post entirely lmao)
he could also enjoy reading about scenarios where he is in control. so it can be any fic where he is in a more dominant role. having that same mental structure that he craves in everyday life could be appealing to him. knowing exactly how he should behave and how the other person will react and what comes next.
or. if i may be so inclined. he would indulge himself in scenarios where he gives up control to help himself relax, for once? maybe?

Carlos realizing that Lando might just have a crush on him or at least some form of fascination. Because wow, the older and more experienced (and really fucking hot) driver/teammate is being nice to him?? And flirting with him? He must be in heaven.
Carlos deciding to push his luck a little. It seems like Lando wants him. And why not fuck with the rookie (literally).
Carlos being kida shitty towards Lando thorughout their entire,,, situation. Using the guy that clearly wants him to wet his dick whenever he's bored or needs to blow off steam. But Lando can't see that, can he? Poor guy, superglued to his rose-tinted glasses and blinded with love adoration.
Carlos leaving mcl, not thinking much of it. He'll get his fixes somewhere else. Or make some sort of arrangement with Lando. Whatever works. Back at mcl, Lando is going through trials and tribunals in his own head, realizing that maybe whatever he had going on with Carlos wasn't the healthiest thing in the world and working up the courage to tell him that their thing is done, setting some boundaries and such.
Carlos realizing that somewhere along the way, he got a little too attached to Lando and slowly (agonizingly so) coming to terms with the fact that he might have actual feelings for him. Because what better way to realize how much someone actually meant to you and how much you need them than by losing that person (or what you had). But by the time he's made peace with that, Oscar comes into Lando's life and Carlos suspects that they might have something going on. And whatever that something is, Lando looks happy, genuinely happy. Now, on top of everything, Calos feels extra guilty about the way he treated Lando before, and the feeling eats away at him like acid. So, he decides to back off. Keep it friendly with Lando. And respectful.
Carlos getting wind of the rumors that RB is interested in Oscar. Despite the fact that he keeps trying to convince himself that he's moved on, moved on, moved on, he can't help but smile. It intrigues him, the concept of an empty seat at mcl, a chance to start over. Or maybe try again.
Carlos finally being content with everything he went through post 2020, knowing it will have been worth it if he can go back to Lando. Him, changed and now sure of his feelings more than ever. And Lando, more mature and ready to approach teammate Carlos in a completely different way than first time.
