i'm not gonna lie, i saw this ask right before i clocked into work, and i've been thinking about it theee whole day (also apologies for not replying sooner, ya girl was Busy today. capital B).
my thing is, there are so many characterisations of oscar, and i enjoy quite a lot of them, so it's honestly hard to say exactly what he would be into.
if we are talking about him reading landoscar fics specifically, i think the most obvious one would be something that would accentuate the age difference between him and lando. so, for example:
time travel fics where younger oscar meets much older lando
fics where lando is aged up for whatever reason to fit the plot (think, sugar daddy lando, professor/student fics, anything of that sort)
(alternatively, he could just straight up be reading oscmark fics. much to ponder on. exploring that concept could be another post entirely lmao)
he could also enjoy reading about scenarios where he is in control. so it can be any fic where he is in a more dominant role. having that same mental structure that he craves in everyday life could be appealing to him. knowing exactly how he should behave and how the other person will react and what comes next.
or. if i may be so inclined. he would indulge himself in scenarios where he gives up control to help himself relax, for once? maybe?
now. his obsession with carlando. carlos and lando are both pretty attractive dudes. why not read carlando fics? (momma's little cuck, aww). or carlandoscar! carcar, even!
rapidfire of other tags i could see him reading about:
teammates/roommates/neighbours to lovers (looks around.)
crying?? during sex?? him or someone else. idk why but the idea won't leave me alone
sadism (esp degratation (does that fall into the sadism category? i think so?), spanking, slapping, bondage, spitting even. the whole shabang) and this would hit so hard during the later stages of the 2025 championship fight, mhm!

and on a more wholesome note, i think he would really enjoy fics where both him and lando are aged up and just being domestic (bonus points if they have a kid, BONUS bonus points if lando is being extra motherly). weirdly enough, i can't see him reading anything omegaverse/mpreg related? don't think he would be into that. (or he wouldn't want to be the one with the possibility of being pregnant, and then he'd feel bad if it was someone else in that situation, if that makes sense?)

okay this one is particularly crazy i feel. anyway oscar is a girl bc she’s hot and before she and lando were teammates she used to be a hugeeeee fan who wrote explicit fanfiction about nortrell. they eventually get together, she tells him the truth at some point, this stuff happens before the fic starts. anyway its oscar’s birthday and oscar hates her birthday but lando wants to make it special so he invites max over and they act out one of her fics for her in real life. it came to me randomly the other day and i wrote the first 500 words of it but it’s currently tabled while i finish up other stuff.
