All Grown Up: Zervis

So this is my artboard version of a grown up Mavis, and Zeref. :-p Different style, different outfit, but hey, it kept some aspects of the original dress.

After the war, I dressed Zeref in red because in the first RPG books I ever read, the red was just before black, neutral, and it could go either way. This is after the curse was broken and a surviving Zeref does not retain his all evilness. After 400 years, however, I doubt Zeref could ever lose his evil attitude. Mavis doubts it too. ;-)

And for kicks…

Z: I never proclaimed to be something I wasn’t, now did I? M: Well, no, but you could have been at least a little more subtle…right? Z: …Then I’d be lying. M: Really…-_-’ (sweat drop)

You know, I was one of the first to put the zervis family with baby Rakheid up, yet I had the least likes. I can't even begin to pretend I'm at keid or Nanako Blaze level, but still Even blogs that are dedicated to this sort of thing didn’t post or like my Zervis pics. I must really suck. :-(Whatever though. Anyhow, I posted this as comparison. I colored the same pic in two different aps, ArtBoard and Pics Art. I like the PicsArt color better, but the ArtBoard lines better. I wonder if I can change that. What do you think?

ZervisWeek- Day7 : Wedding

Finally! Ug. Drawing made with a program that includes all the bells and whistles. This took forever and a day, but Im learning! I think I overdid the highlights, but I had a lot of fun playing with textures if you can’t tell. :-p

Originally I was planning on coloring a pic I sketched ages ago, but after a little research, I decided on a Roman theme because Zeref seems to be from a time heavily inspired by Greco-Roman history. :-)

I don’t think I’ll do a drawing for pain, considering Zervis week is way over, but I hope that’s okay! Now if only my pics could still be reblogged by Zervis Week…Nanako? Oy Vey.

So it seems that Zervis Week isn’t reblogging anymore, but I guess I’ll put in a few late entries anyway. I made this a long time ago and posted it, but now I updated it and painted digitally. I love this program, even if it doesn’t have the bells and whistles of other ones. It was fun experimenting. Please enjoy this

Zervis Week 2016 -Day Four: First

An excerpt to go with day one: reborn .

Mavis finally accepts Zeref’s feelings for her as she is “tricked” into becoming a tutor for Natsu. Completely coincidental of course. ;-) Anyhow, this is where Zeref confronts her about their past and they share their first kiss. I had a lot of fun, so I hope you like it.

Also question for NanakoBlaze or Zervisweek. Since it is Sept 21, will there be late entries accepted/ reblogged until the end of the week at least? I have a story for this and pics for 5 and 7, maybe 6 if I feel like drawing angst. Please let me know!
