Would you still love Carmilla if she was a worm?
“…But that is not a possibility? Sinners don’t just turn to worms. I suppose if I must give an answer… yes. She’d make a lovely worm. I’d build a terrarium she could stay in to be safe”

Soo... is that cloak just clothes or part of you???.. your anatomy perplexes me.
“My cloak is simply that—my cloak,” Zestial said with an easy composure, the faintest hint of amusement threading through his tone. “A favored piece of attire, perhaps, but no more extraordinary than another’s cherished cane or well-worn pair of shoes. Carmilla’s heels are not bound to her soul, nor is my cloak to mine. It is preference, not permanence.”
Carmilla was hesitant. She came to Zestial's home hoping to fix the mess she had made. She's been standing at his doorstep for about five minutes now. Every few seconds her hand would reach up to knock, only to bring it back to clutch against her chest. Zestial probably already knew she was here. He always knew she was coming before she even reached his property.
Carmilla took a deep breath that didn't help much in calming her nerves. She could do this- It'll be fine. She will at least try to fix their friendship.
Finally, she knocked on his door.

Zestial had been watching from his bedroom window ever since she entered his estate, longing to open the door and embrace his best friend. Yet, that wouldn't have been appropriate given their recent... falling out? He still wasn't entirely sure what had happened, only that he had upset his dearest friend by trying to reciprocate her previous affections. As soon as her hand touched the door, he teleported to open it. However, upon seeing her within arm's reach, panic surged through him, and he promptly slammed the door shut.
Taking a shaky breath, he reopened the door more slowly, offering a polite smile. "Mistress Carmilla! Greetings! I presume thou hast received my... letter?"
Spooky enters Zestial's room carrying a homemade cheesecake... made of actual cheese. (It's the thought that counts) "Spooky brings treat!" She chirps, setting the poorly made "cake" next to him then jumping onto his bed

"Spooky, that is not… how didst thou even gain entry here? Thou hast a vexing talent for appearing precisely when thou art least desired." Zestial seems irritated, rubbing his temples
I believe you dropped something *gives him Carmilla turned into a baby* good luck
Zestial holds the baby at full arms length looking rather panicked "Wherefore is she reduced to infancy? Take her back... I implore thee!" He looks at the baby worriedly "Christ be with me"
In the middle of the night, Zestial could feel a slight weight on his chest.
Spooky was standing on him. She finally left her room to search the rest of the house. When she came across Zestial's room, a sense of familiarity came over her. She saw the Overlord sleeping and wanted to get a closer look at the man who kidnapped her.
Her nose twitched as she observed the sleeping demon.

Zestial blinks awake slowly, his gaze soft but slightly bewildered as he registers the small figure before him. His eyes, still faintly glowing in the dimness, settle on the bunny. "Spooky? What dost thou here, out of thy chamber, dear one?" His voice holds a mix of gentle concern and drowsy curiosity, the more pressing question of how she left her supposedly spooky-proofed room slipping from his mind in his half-awake state.
What are your thoughts on Halloween?
Zestial tilts his head, considering the question. His voice comes slow, reflective, as if feeling his way through memory rather than reciting it.
“Halloween… aye. In my youth it was not festooned with sugar nor costumes, but with shadowed hearths, with turnips carved to ward ill spirits, and children traipsing door to door, not for confections but for coin or bread in guise of ‘soul cakes.’ A night steeped in reverence for the dead, where the veil thinned and prayers might yet ease a restless spirit.”
He allows a faint smile, eyes glinting in the half-light.
“Here, the meaning is changed—what was once sacred has become spectacle. The streets teem with masquerade, fire, and wicked jest, the veil mocked rather than honored. Yet still… I cannot deny, there is a certain delight in it. A carnival of damnation, where all play at being more monstrous than they are, though most need no mask. Perhaps it is not remembrance as it once was, but it is ours now, and that, too, has weight.”
*A Cat Alastor appears in front of you*
“Mreow!”
@cat-alastor-summoner
“Art thou not an ugly thing?” Zestial says with affection, picking up the strange cat
