Just a little comic to give a small hint to H.A.T.E’s backstory and motivation.
based on a bit of background lore from the first Monkey Wrench episode, in which a poster shows that Terrans (aka; Humans) are illegal and are systematically hunted down. This little detail is what I find the most interesting in the setting, and it is even the motivation behind creating the character H.A.T.E.
and I might even explore the concepts of possibly other “illegal species” (because logically if any civilization were willing to commit genocide, they would very likely have done the same thing to other species in the past)
however, due to MW being a still developing series with only 2 episodes by the time of this making, there could always be a likelihood of a future episode contradicting whatever headcanon worldbuilding I do. Which is fine, this is all fan work so I could always change things if official canon ever disproves something.
Anyway, this little one-off comic has been sitting in my mind and I had fun drawing it, especially all the background characters in the last panel, and re-creating the Terran poster without the X covering it (I had to do a lot of research on Zeurel art-style on humans to get it right)
