Just a man walking his inconspicuous sheep
When I should try drawing trolls but Lusii is where its at
One day I’ll actually draw Mr Bleeep with some effort and not at work
when you disappoint your lusus
zeus, tell us a story :eyes emoji:
"There once was a troll who was bored of his current life. He had a matesprit whom he loved. A moirail that would have given him the world. A kismesis that challenged him at every turn. But he was bored of it all. With just a few words he left and traveled. To seek wonders he had yet to see.
At first he saw wonders. Experienced new horizons and gained riches in ways both simple and seedy.
With every passing Sweep his heart grew needy. An ache burned into his chest and something festered in his pan. He was unwell. This sickness drove him to chase wider spectrums and sent him into the stars. And in vast eternity of space he felt ever more hollow.
Witnessing more then he ever thought he could in his lifetime the weight that built upon his shoulders became too much to bare. One night he woke and said, "I can do this no more."
He chartered himself a ship, one that was great and powerful and helmed by the best. He was an envy to many and in his time away from home gained many an enemy. Eyes blinded by an all encompassing need to return to his roots. To seek a foundation he had set so many sweeps ago so that it would hold him up as his shoulders slumped with ever growing weariness.
When he landed he found the world he remembered to be no more. "How long was I gone?" he asked himself. For the cities he remembered were in ruin. The forests he loved burned to ash.
In a hurry he sought out his old Hive. A place he had shared with the one he loved and who had loved him. But what he found was a hovel, abandoned and empty. The occupant long since passed on.
He felt nothing.
Next he followed rumors and old acquaintances to find his moirail. Coming upon a troll that was old and withered who’s vision had failed them long ago. And in the arms of another who did not hold them for granted.
"You did not wait for me? You've moved on!"
"I cannot carry what I cannot hold," was the tired reply.
Lastly came his kismesis whom was spry and young when they still parted ways. Finding him in the form of wanted posters plastered on walls down nearly every street. They had been deemed a coward and a traitor and should be culled if ever seen.
"What is this world I have come back to? From the things that I have seen. Such beauty and wonders and down here it's simply obscene."
With no pieces to pick up he followed his old tracks back home.So he sat upon the stoop of his old hive, head down and shoulders bent. As the finality of it all hit him he wept and wept and wept."
When you had a flock of lusii but not anymore, and they also used to dress you in spare wool.
