Oh man, there are sooooo many director notes for Iron and Wine haha but hmm let me try to keep this brief...

Hmmm... Well for one a little secret, despite the appearances the reader's favorite person out of everyone on Erwin's crew is Levi( surprise surprise) She's a hard ass, she's not one for flattery(even though BOTH Erwin and Miche are bomb.com at it and they both end up making her blush) she knows that what she sees with Levi is what she gets. She likes how honest he is, she trusts his words, which is why she's ok with him being so close to Erwin. Which, a lil spoiler, you'll see a little more interaction between these two in coming chapters when my head is in a better place haha.

Hmm oh since y'all have finally met Reader's village people I can finally share that Reader is super accepting of both Miche and Historia so quickly because Historia reminds her of Armin and Miche reminds her of Sasha. I can't remember if I left the line in when Miche tells her he's always had a good sense of smell that it reminds her of someone back home, but if she had it would've been Sasha.

In fact in her village, the Children of Paradis regard Sasha as being touched by the Goddess as well. She's not nearly as blessed and connected to the Mother as the reader obviously but she's been blessed with an amazing sense of hearing. Reader has a suspicion that the Mother must have blessed Miche with the same type of gift. Also reader would never admit this aloud but she also has a suspicion that the Mother has blessed Levi with amazing reflexes and strength which is...annoying to her and she would never admit it to him aloud hbahaha.
