Whatever Happened to Zhorrid?

So I know that if the Imperial Agent sides with Darth Jadus at the end of Chapter One, they are sent to kill Zhorrid, Jadus' daughter, one of the more intriguing people in a story where many characters fit that moniker.

She is both ally and antagonist. She is a monster and a victim. She is sympathetic (because of her upbringing by Jadus) and ... well, she is who she is.

And she basically disappears after Chapter One, even though she's nominally still in charge of the Sphere of Imperial Intelligence. She apparently does not object to its dissolution in Chapter Three, even though that would theoretically cripple her own power base. We don't seem to see her with the rest of the Dark Council at the end of Chapter Three of the Sith Warrior and Sith Inquisitior stories.

According to Wookiepedia, she actually ran Sith Intelligence before Marr replaced her with Lana Beniko. I cannot rebuke this, but I have not found anything in the game to support this position.

Elsewhere on Wookiepedia, it claims Zhorrid personally re-organized it after the Star Cabal crisis. Again, I've never seen these events subscribed to her in the actual game. In fact, we get almost nothing about Sith Intelligence between the end of the Imperial Agent story and the end of Shadow of Revan.

I like Wookiepedia, but a lot of it’s stuff is poorly sourced and referenced.

(I have to be honest with you - the idea of Zhorrid personally reorganizing anything is crazy. Her father was a monster but she is bat-shit.)

The simplest explanation for everything is that she was killed by the rest of the Dark Council sometime before the end of the Agent's story. This would be consistent with the Council's attitude towards her, and her inability to build her own power base and respect. Dark Councillors do not generally "like" each other, but they usually tolerate their fellows out of necessity. They don't do that with her.

Eventually - years later - the Sphere of Imperial Intelligence (later the Sphere of Sith Intelligence) will be merged into the Sphere of Galactic Influence in Acina's government. Darth Xarion commands that Sphere, overseeing Sith Intelligence.

But the game never gets into this. As I said, people just stop mentioning her if she even survives chapter one.

Elsewhere on Dubrillion, certain gang leaders were gaining prominence over others. Sometimes their followers engaged in brutal clashes, leading to horrific maiming and death tolls. But sometimes, they formed alliances, combined their power bases.

Vette was the most prominent voice for peace, just as she’d predicted. Those weeks spent running around getting acquainted paid off. Not to mention, many of these people knew that when their darkest hour had come for them, the only ones who had had their back had been the Alliance. Her belonging to that organization gave her a degree of protection.

But that was all the bright side she got. The extremists had begun to coalesce around six figures. Dannel Borrs, Vinden Leeds, Kaya Russell, Perry Shell, Orbal Days, and Vinna Row. These six combined boasted a huge following across the entire planet, and easily dwarfed Vette’s own moderates. And despite the best efforts of Vette, Risha, and all of their contacts, these were eventually able to form a government, which they called the Free Peoples’ Utopiocracy of Dubrillion.

Lana sensed high spirits when she entered the meeting hall. She shouldn’t have felt so surprised. Her own mission to Nar Shaddaa had borne fruit beyond what was hoped for. They had learned more about Jadus in that brief excursion than forty years of Imperial and Republic Intelligences had.

And on returning, they had requested a DNA sample from Zhorrid—no, she much preferred her name ‘Zora’, so that was what Lana would call her now—and attempted to compare it with Count Merritt Rineld’s. It was a conclusive match: both of them shared one parent.

In fact, Lana was greatly pleased by Zora’s recovery alone. The poor woman had been abused for years and years but had healed, almost miraculously. Her resilience surprised and heartened Lana. Perhaps all scars could fade in time.

The EmDee had recorded Zora plagued by nightmares for almost the entire duration of Lana’s mission, but somehow a few hours before her return, Zora had stopped screaming and a profound smile had emerged on her sleeping face, so brilliant it felt like every particle of her being was exulting. Zora had stayed awake long enough for Lana to request her DNA for a match, and she had promptly gone back to sleep.

That had been twenty-seven hours ago. She seemed to be in such a relaxing and deep sleep that Lana recalled the day when Arro had overcome his own demons from his forced service to Emperor Vitiate. She simply hadn’t had the heart to awaken the poor woman from what seemed to be her first proper rest in a lifetime.

They had most of what they needed anyway—that is, they had enough of a trail that they could request additional support from the Alliance. Already.

But when she woke, Zora might be instrumental in filling some of the missing years in their file.

well i do have all of them so yeah i think that's a great idea. that's what i'll do next definitely man. i started inquisition right after i bought it but then i got distracted with finishing ME laughs
