hashtag throwback tuesday Here's another morsel from the Sticky vault, this time the photo from an article on us published in The Age's education section, August 7th 2002. Note the issue of 'I Am A Camera' in Luke's hands, plus the copy of indie classic 'Chickfactor' on the pre-wooden shelving system. The Sticky noticeboard, black ceiling and pre-renovation fluoro lighting are also of note, plus how over-all clean and tidy the store looks. Also check out Luke's classic yellow and brown checked shirt that he wore to every shift at Sticky between 2001 and 2009. The blackboard over his right shoulder had "staff picks" written in chalk that changed every week. The article talks about these new things "blogs" ("Blogging is a new Web fad that has thousands of young people writing in public for the first time...") and whether they could potentially help kids write better.
