"They still write poems about you." He said, almost disappointed. There was shame in the knowledge.
"Why?" She asked, like thousand of voices into one, mirth in her tongue, a smile on her lips.
He shrugged, "You were a tragedy, people love to dwell on those."
"Oh my dearest- There is nothing tragic about reaching- reaching out for what you want."
Her laughter echoed, like church bells in their gravitas and the delicate tinkling of fairy lights all at once.
A silence, a smile, a heart beat, a vivid memory.
"Even if just for a moment."
