It definitely looks like Feng Xi is starting to forget Dong Yue and what she means to him. It was a gradual change, but even Ziyuan and Dao Le are noticing by now and asked several physicians in to diagnose a possible illness. But FX is physically healthy, the only strange thing is how he is forgetful about anything connected to DY, as she has noticed herself.

Is this the price she has to pay for going back to the past for the second time? I guess we’ll have to wait and see how things develop.

This episode spent quite a bit of time Daole and Ziyuan with some drama fantasy medicine to save both their lives in one go: Daole got healed of the serious sword wound he got while fighting the Third Prince’s men and Ziyuan got rid of the poison that was slowly killing her. It was amusing to see how quickly they both were just like normal.

But the scene I really loved was when Feng Ci was cockblocking them in the garden.

While Daole looks murderous, Feng Xi is looking so pleased of himself. He is so evil at times!

Ugh, I really hate the trope of driving away your loved one ”for their own good” because a person is dying/in trouble/whatever. Like in this drama, where Ziyuan was given poison by that Minister’s general and is now determined to drive Dao Le away. She knows she will soon be in considerable pain without the antidote.

I like Dao Le’s approach to things and think Ziyuan should just tell him what is going on, so that they can work together to find the antidote, and even if they don’t find it, at least they’d be together at the end, instead of both being miserable apart from each other. They should fight for their love, like Dong Yue and Feng Xi are doing!

But, naah, she must be stupid and try to drive him away.
