There’s something with the amount of confidence Izuku has using gearshift on Bakugo when he was told to only use it after finding the assured path to victory…..

he is fully aware of the consequences if he uses it but Izuku believes—- no, he knows that if Katsuki is there, they will win because after all these years, the fact that Katsuki is Izuku’s literal image of Victory still remains.

And the first thing that Bakugo says after being revived? “Time to Win this”

and i think. there’s so much telling with the expression here. ah, kacchan is here, as expected kacchan is amazing. the admiration he always had.

i fudging love how everything in this chapter can be related back to their first actual fight where they come face to face with each other. where they started to understand and express how they felt with the other.

My AS Level business exam is tomorrow so I decided to sit outside this morning to just read through this summary booklet and enjoy my coffee.

I downloaded the summary booklet online from Znotes and as an act of being more environmentally friendly i'm just reading and highlighting from my ipad instead of printing out the whole thing and wasting so much paper.

i don’t want to drop major spoiler on twt tl so here it goes BECAUSE BRO IM ONLY 5 CHAPTERS OUT OF 22 IN MAIN STORY 2 AND WDYM ARTHUR MADE A PROMISE. This boy makes me so stressed out you don’t understand. The trust he needs to have in both himself AND Chloe is crazy. i Need to pull my hair out already i haven’t even finished reading chapter 5 help me

coming back to the arthur point. yeah. i think even if arthur can keep his words, it still depends on chloe. chloe is good natured but he’s mentally weaker than arthur. so having made that tied to him, if anything, between the two.. chloe’s gonna break first. Not like break promise but more like his mind -> as long a you think that way then the promise is broken.

tbh it doesn’t matter does it since it depends on arthur thinks and believe bc the one who said it out was arthur

during my time into bnha i was more of the big 3 fan and miritama since they just got introduced. major brainwork and all that it kinda covered up the izuku and katsuki ground beta fight. lol i reread that chapter what can i say

i can’t believe their first fight did not infect me because what the fudge deku. from how Katsuki influenced him (him running his mouth when his fighting spirit is up bc Katsuki always does that) to admitting that Katsuki is what he imagines Victory as (having Katsuki’s confidence in a fight bc that’s what he thinks it should be to win), to him telling Katsuki his extend of admiration towards him …???? his admiration stays even during Katsuki’s shittiest point and he will still continue to chase after him despite that. And a huge chunk of what motivates Izuku towards his goal is his admiration for heroes, which includes Katsuki

Then there’s Katsuki who thinks he’s being looked down on. That he needs to catch up Izuku—- the Izuku who always follows him, the Izuku who is lacking in every aspect except his spirit and desire to save someone. And like. all these feelings adds up from when they were children, the admiration gets stronger along with the feeling of being looked down in the other party’s side

well i do think their relationship is kinda fudge up in the early sense, they grew up together, seen all there is of the other since childhood, too much history, too intervened to let go of the other but also not on the same wavelength to communicate. being together means there will be fighting. being separated means.

up until recently i almost forgot how Izuku said Kacchan was who he picture when he thinks of victory… his image of victory… like wth slapping myself! i mean! yes! it’s been years but still! (<- had UA big 3 brainwork back then)

And I came to a realisation where. wow Izuku does care a lot of Bakugo. Their final practical exam where Bakugo said he rather lose than team up with deku…. and while it did show that Izuku felt hurt.. it’s not because the way Bakugo denied and rejected him but he can’t accept Bakugo losing. Because to Izuku, winning has always been associated with Katsuki, and Katsuki losing means going against what he knew and believed. Izuku is always so stubborn with his ideals and admiration, and he admires Katsuki a ton, he is not gonna allow that… Katsuki losing? He’s not gonna allow that when he’s right there lmao

i kinda miss reading a3! everything feels so warm and comforting with how supportive the casts are. the theatre found family friendship stuff

the younger members having the older members looking out and guiding them but also the older ones learning from the younger ones

i’ve only read 2017-2018 stories and its not a lot with the amount there are now but i get a feeling of happiness from reading those uuuu

wild stuff and pain here and there exist but overall, at the end, but its still a rlly nice feeling

found family troupe is real strong and i love it so much. everyone has a place in mankai…

like even the fan content… the amt of fic i read about chikage and hisoka with how they found their place in mankai and how everyone treated them with warmth without fully knowing their backstory bc it’s okay. it doesn’t matter to them. what matters is theyre both there and urg bro

if i had to pick any universe to isekai in… i want it to be in mankai. i used to think about it often like that connect and supportive environment.. how no one is left out.. i want to something like that too

i get warmth from mhyk, i7, and prsk too but two of them gives me a number of emotions i cant name along with it (screaming… tsm sensei is responsible for them.) and the other is proud of those kids kind of feeling, of them figuring their life out.

for a3!, some are adults, some are still in school and i guess that what makes the whole thing. so warm and wholesome because no matter the age, they come together with that shared passion of theatre and grow together
