ayo tumblr dunno how many of us know that tiktok audio "my identity does not change my biology, so no, good sir, you cannot legally hunt me, that is still manslaughter" but the creator had said they're open to suggestions for a different audio to create along the same lines of the original audio but more inclusive for physically or biologically identifying beings and i want ideas and opinions from yall whaddya think

Ok, this could just be me and my bird brain fixation on categorization and organization, but I want a symbol for zoanthropes* because right now the closest we have is the lycanthropy symbol and it’s just… boring

This is the current lycanthropy symbol, it’s an upside down letter y with a triangle in the middle. I cannot find a reason as to why this is the symbol, it just simply is. Same thing for the lycanthropy flag, I guess I can understand the color choices and paw, but like, it’s just not interesting.

This symbol and flag only cover lycanthropes, those of us who are canine, and I’ve only met a few true lycanthropes, the rest of us are zoanthropes, being that we are non canines. Yes I am looking very directly at all the cetaceans, with love of course.

Anyways, I’ll show yall what I’m thinking could be the new symbol for the wider zoanthrope community.

It’s currently a very rough idea, but the premise is the circle represents community, the two lines represent equally amongst us despite our differences, the feather symbolizes avians, the paw is for mammals, and the wave is for all aquatic/semi aquatic creatures. I am open to suggestions of things to add or new meanings. And if you know of a better symbol for zoanthropes please tell me about it!

Also yes I’ve finally accepted it’s spelled zoanthrope with one “O” and not two, but I’m not changing the tags I use because I don’t like change. Also zooanthrope is more phonetic, but zoanthrope is the more common word so I shall attempt to correct myself in the future.

I wish to tell someone irl about my experiences with alterhumanity and my (undiagnosed) zoanthropy, but I am fearful of said person telling a doctor/medical professional. I have told two people that I am an Alterhuman, but I don’t think they understand how I am physically non-human. Although, one of them knows my Tumblr account so maybe they will see this. Most likely not though

i am physically human-to-werecanine. i used to be human-bodied until early 2024, when my soul revealed its true shape as a dog-wolf, and spiritually integrating this made me physically transform. when i embraced the morphing instead of running from it, my body became entirely were, and changing shape became more bearable and controllable.

i'm mostly a multi-cross of terriers and companions with a cut of southern chinese wolf. i spend the majority of my time in were form, which has the second pelt color. the rare times my physical morphing goes theriform it hasn't been enough to tell if i keep my reborn coloration or show my past life / spirit coloration, so second pic is me imagining the possibility.
