i actually only got into the other aspects of the zodiac lately LOL and thats why im such zodiac trash i am now |D;;
ummm under the cut so people dont know how much of a zodiac nerd i am. just so you know, an actual personality test is like 5000% more accurate than anything because thats more scientific than these ._. and i merely find amusement in these (and how accurate they can be at times) and i just love em to death out of interest XD i also fricking love stars. (so yeaaa dont base yo life on these. especially others. please just dont.)
basically the zodiac we all know based on our birthdays are our SUN sign birthdays (and the reason theyre so easy to pinpoint is because the earth’s year is also based on the position of the sun) the SUN sign is your general nature and personality i guess, your ego etc. this is also the reason why sometimes our zodiacs dont make sense lol.
other than that there are other zodiacs based on the date and time we were born - based on the planets and the moon and im pretty sure its the position of the sun’s rising |D anyways i tend to remember the first 5 or 6 - they have the more obvious impact and describe me pretty well

left my favourite for last though :’D your VENUS sign is how you deal with loooooooove (of course) and yes it tends to lean to the mushy cute love but also even just how you express and love friends and family. how you express love and are in a relationship, affection all in a bundle and its never more than two signs away from your sun sign apparently. mine is pisces in venus, which means im very sensual and sappy ;w;” dreamy and extremely caring and enjoys lots of cute romantic shizzle. sensitive and apparently willing to let go. which heh is pretty on point for me.
tl;dr mercury is decision, mars is instinct and anger and venus is love shenanigans
should you use these in making characters? probably not LOL. because youre actually pinpointing a date/time which can be pretty hard. at the most maybe use two-three. but they are interesting. still id base them more on personality tests or the sun signs but thats my preference -w- its just interesting to read on
