past
Labelled a trouble maker before she was born due to the difficult and very long pregnancy she’d given her mother, Zoe would always be known to be a difficult child to both parents. It didn’t help that they were both very young parents that had a one night stand and decided to give a relationship a go. Nevertheless, the relationship lasted for no more than a couple of months and before Zoe’s first birthday – her father was out of the picture. That being said, her mother had always done her best to make sure that her daughter never missed out on anything. Even to the point of working three jobs to ensure that everything was paid for, starting with the gymnastic lessons that the young girl had been enlisted in at the tender age of four. By the age of fifteen, Zoe was one of the best in her dance class and had a very promising future ahead of her. Already having won numerous of competitions, it was no surprise that they were expecting grand things from the petite brunette with bright blue eyes. Nevertheless, before she could make it to her dream competition, an injury had her hospitalized for a few months. Surgery after surgery to fix the broken limbs, she never found the flexibility that she once had prior to the accident. In that moment, her entire life fell apart around her as she had instantly felt a deep sense of loss.
Several meetings with therapist to help the child who had fallen into depression, Zoe simply couldn’t comprehend how no one understood how much this was impacting her. Her entire life was over. The future she had planned had now vanished. While others told her she would find something else that she was good at, they never truly understood that there wasn’t anything else she would love as much as gymnastics. The following years afterwards were full of discovery as she attempted to learn more about herself and other skills that she possessed. It wasn’t until years later that she realised that perhaps the injury was a blessing in disguise. Her whole life had been wrapped up in that one sport that she hadn’t really gotten to know herself outside of being a gymnast. That time spent in the gym training was replaced with studies and wild nights out with friends. Her love for freedom had set her on a path that most had not quite been approving of; especially her mother.
Choosing not to follow through with school, the girl decided that she would take a few years to think about what she really wanted to do with her life. It’s been a while now and she can’t find the intent on pursuing down that route once she’s had a taste of freedom. She’s all the more content to continue going to work and spending the little money she has on good night out with friends. Living young and every day to the fullest is what she intends on doing for as long as she can. There was no way that she would spend another few years studying when all she wanted to do was go out and have fun. After getting in touch with a friend of hers, he helped get her a job at the restaurant he worked at.
present
While she doesn’t have much intent to go back to school, she’s actually wanting to leave the waitressing behind her for something that could provide her with a little more financial stability. If only it was simple to find an older man who could pay for everything. However, she’s been looking for other jobs such as bartending — something she already does, every once in a blue moon, when the owner of her favorite bar owner she’s befriended is short staffed. It’s right down her department given that her social personality can be played upon a lot more in order to make a profit rather than when she has to move from table to table as she’s waitresses. Still a child at heart, she continued to go out until the early hours of the morning even though she’s the one who has the early shift. Her responsibilities as of right now consists of making sure that her bills are paid on time and ensuring that no electric items are left turns on before she heads out the door. She intends on living this way for as long as she can, given that even the thought of settling down and starting a family frightens her to no end.
personality
Zoe is a wild child who’s always up for any type of adventure that you throw at her. She’s the girl that walks in and instantly gets the party going by jumping on tables and serving drinks. She’s fun and always down for a good time. Fighting and drama isn’t her forte, though she’s very protective of her friends and the people that she cares about. Very intelligent and opinionated about certain aspects, she has no problem telling you what she thinks which can often get her in trouble. Zoe is also very childlike in certain aspects as in she’s always be up to build a fort in the middle of your living room floor and spend the day watching cartoons with a box of Oreos and some Ben & Jerry.
