scream characters are so problematic

because these writers hardcore throw suspicion on every single fucking character, so the whole time you're getting to know this character and their little quirks and confessions and stuff, you're like, "eh, Idk, I really want to like you, but you're also shady as hell." And then when that character dies, you're forced to accept—all in like this one fucked up moment—that everything about them COUGHzoevaughnCOUGH actually wasn't a lie, that they were actually good, maybe even better than you thought they were COUGHelihudsonCOUGH, and it's like the first time you ever truly love and trust a character is after they're dead, and this is really not the way I should be building my fictional relationships MTV, this is emotionally unhealthy
