how did they join the group: Thomas found his cousin quite quickly and considered staying alone, but he knew enough about survival to know groups were safer than solo acts of bravery.

what did they do before apocalypse: He was a subject of W.C.K.D., an organization that tested young people’s survival abilities, intellectual and social skills. When the apocalypse happened, Thomas was freed.

what do they do now: Thomas is, officially, someone who helps come up with strategies and a runner, going out for food for the group. Though, unofficially and in his own terms, Thomas constantly uses himself as bait for zombies when necessary for believing he’s fast enough to escape them. Even if he isn’t always right about that.

how did they join the group: Isaac was actually saved by Derek, he was cornered by a few of the zombies and thought his life was over. Along with feeling in debt to him, he also joined the group because he knew it gave him better chances of survival.

what did they do before apocalypse: Applying to colleges and trying to get out of their dead beat town and away from his father.

what do they do now: Navigator of the group. Kill zombies and search for the motherfucker who killed/turned his brother.  [[ oh yes, I’ve just turned him into a vengeful badass ;D ]]

how did they join the group: she got caught trying to steal a gas from the group knowing it was everyone for themselves she was wary about the group 

what did they do before apocalypse: adella played lacrosse for beacon hills high school and was starting to apply for college. she had been working for a car repair shop in town. 

what do they do now: she fixes cars in exchange for supplies and gas, she still is reluctant on the idea of working with others
