この作品は、廃棄されたR-PET素材の紐をつなぎ合わせ、 かぎ針編みでチェーンのように編み上げ、さらにアクリル絵の具を滴らせたものです。 リサイクル素材であるR-PETの紐は、一度は環境を考えて再生されたものの、やがて再び廃棄され、またリサイクルされます。 この繰り返しの中で、「循環」「ループ」「反復」という言葉が思い浮かぶと同時に、ものの価値についても考えさせられます。 本作は、そうした循環の中にある微妙なバランスを表現しています。
