Our Wonderful Headquarters!
The Shady Stilt Lands
Peeker's Woods
"One of our larger exhibits and also one of our main attractions here is the Peeker's Woods, named for it's primary inhabitant you'll meet shortly. This is a great evergreen forest home to some rather odd species.
Before meeting the residents, meet the people in charge of them, Shingyoku and Reisen. Shingyoku is a relatively new hire for us, and works here largely out of her own very poor choice! Reisen is our resident Rake expert. She's training her coworker here in how to not get violently torn apart. Don't worry about Reisen's rifle, she only has it in case of some freak emergency (and it doesn't have any lethal munition to the habitat's residends anyway).
It's only natural to start with the star of the show, and exhibit's name sake, The Peeker herself. Rakes are a highly dangerous and demanding species of largely anti-social animals that most zoos don't even attempt to house. We are not most zoos. But color us surpised when-
Peeker settled in and a second Rake (which we named The Watcher, or just Watcher) turned up. After some behavioral and dna analysis, we found these two to be siblings (Peeker the elder sister and Watcher the younger brother). Them being as buddy-buddy as they are is incredibly atypical of their species, so we took an invested intrest in housing them together. Peeker was aquired through an animal rescue we did, saving her from some people who wanted her dead. Apparently Watcher was also hiding there and followed us back here. Watcher loves the attention from people here, Peeker does not. If you see a Rake at all in this exhibit, it is probably Watcher.
Rakes are not the only species of strange primate we have here however, as we have also come into possession of a small group of Sasquatch. Pictured here is one of the females we named Squana. We put them together with the Rakes not only to fill space, but also due to the fact that Rakes and Sasquatches have been known to cooperate with one another when their ranges overlap.
Sasquatch have many strange attributes as a species, none of which I'll get into here, but one of the least strange is that their troops are lead by a dominany male (in this case, Wuto Raclor, the male Sasquatch pictured here). While Wuto is the most standoffish creature in the habitat, he never picks fights with Peeker, almost as though he knows who the real owner of this forest is.
At the pack of the exhibit, peeking out of the fence is a small, man made cave made as a den for the Rakes. While Peeker does use it very rarely, watcher never uses it, opting instead to sleep in the trees. If anyone is inclined to use it, it's a couple of the female Sasquatch.
I almost forgot to mention the last guy in here! This is our Treeper Spruce! You can probably guess how we aquired him. (We mistook him for a tree.) While our two primates in here only tend more towards night activity, Spruce is ONLY active at night, wandering around the south side of the fence. He's not really visible from the viewing vents, but he's visible over the fence so does it really matter?
While all animals have been covered, I'm personally just proud of how this body of water for them to drink from and bathe in came out. No one even frequents it really, it's just pleasant. Since the Rakes mostly tolerate the staff unless feeling particularly irritable, I've taken to coming to this place to relax.
While we are not yet open to the public, some folks have been let in as test guests. The Three Fairies of Light are some examples, and Sunny has taken a liking to the Rakes. And rather concerningly Peeker has taken a liking to her... Look her with her little chocolate bar! So cute!
We hope you visit the Peeker's Woods, an exhibit you'll find nowhere else! Also, pay no mind to any scraps of paper visible within. They just showed up one day, and both Peeker and Watcher get agressive if someone attempts to remove any."

So, this was quite literally THE FIRST thing I built in this world. Yeah, I have not posted the first exhibit until just now. As stated in the previous incarnation of this exhibit, the name The Peeker for one of the Rakes is taken from
this here video (which is really good and you should watch it). In the Peeker's story, it is said that some people misinterprited it as having a second creature that comes with it called the Watcher, and that is where Watcher's name came from. Fun fact about this exhibit: The original creatures living here with the Rakes was not actually Sasquatches and a Treeper (as neither were in the pack yet) but rather the Cocketrice from the Aether and Creeper Overhaul's Mushroom Creepers. Neither felt fitting and were removed. None were killed tho, they're just sitting in storage waiting to be re-homed. Back to mob names, Spruce's name is genuinely just a generic Trevenant name I felt was fitting (because fuckin look at him), and while the female Sasquatches have completely random names, Wuto is named after something from the story me and a friend are telling on a Bedrock Realm we're apart of. So yeah. I wonder what those pages are about?
Welcome to Our Fine Dining Experience!
"As much as that big food company blood money sounds nice, we personally are more fond of smaller places, and have managed to convince small buisness owner Mystia Lorelei to open up an Izakaya stand in our Forest Sector!
One must simply walk up and through the gates of the Izakaya in the night. If anyone wonders why the place is fenced off, it was per the owner's request. Apparently she doesn't feel safe working this close to some of the creatures in the park without a fence. As if a fence could stop them.
Take your seat and wait for some of the kind staff (one of the two of them) to take your order. The menu is rather large, so feel free to take your time ordering. You can even pet Tokage if he comes to your table! (which he probably won't).
While Mystia herself taking your order is not out of the question, the co-owner Kyouko is far more likely to serve you. Be patient with them, they're only two people. (And if you're not, don't expect good treatment.)
All food is prepared in Mystia's cart, so one can natually expect to see her working away. You may even be lucky enough to hear her sing! Please pay no mind to the Tegu, that's her pet Tokage. He stays out of the kitchen. Expect her to give a plesant, homie meal.
Please pay no mind to the creature at the front. She just showed up one day. She doesn't work for us or Mystia. We're like 40% sure she's harmless. She does bite tho."
-Dr. D Clownberg
Been a while since the last Zooge post. Sorry. I'm planning on maybe doing another today, so be ready for that. Instead of giving Mystia a big resturant this time around, I gave her a smaller thing (since it's not like I use anything past level two in her game anyways). I picked them all up for the shoot, but this is where all the would-be staff that don't have an exhibit yet reside. As said, don't worry about the dubious creature at the front, she doesn't work here but she's chill. Also yes, this is where the iconic Seiga x Mayumi yuri takes place.
perfect. he will enter the zooge tonight
Come on Over to The Clown's Fixin's!
"We have many accentric Employees, and this lucky chap happens to be one of our few actually human ones! (at least I think he's human...)
Come on Down and try Jeffery Hawk's own cooking! Most of them aren't his own recipes, but he can make them better than most!
The Clown's Fixin's! For when you get hungry, but are an entire sector of the park away from Mystia's place."
-Dr. D Clownberg
Have this mini Zooge post of me using EasyNPCs to make a food vender. Don't work folks, Jeffery IS NOT a serial killer in this canon. (He's just one of Clownberg's co-workers from the circus days.)
The Red Star Temple
"The first impression you get upon entering our mountainous and arctic mob zone! The Red Star Temple is named for the beautiful visual y'all get due to the species held within.
The Unown, a species of aberant parasites which take over the bodies of their victims for purposes of reprodution and protection from predators.
While they are dangerous, the glow of their red eyes in the dark they must be kept in to promote activity makes them a beautiful sight.
Special thanks to our specialist Letty Whiterock for taking on the role of watching and maintaining this exhibit. While there have never been documented instances of Unown targeting Youkai for hosts, our largely Human-like Youkai staff are especially at risk. Luck for us, Letty is of a more... ghostly disposition, allowing her safe entry. All non-ghost or construct staff are to wear hazmat suits when entering this exhibit for their own safety (as I am doing while taking these photos, hense the green particles that got captured in some shots).
While most zoos avoid housing Unown at all, those that do all are required to have at least one Unown Hive to keep the creature's stable. This poor bloke is ours. He was like this upon the aquisition of our Unown, as transporting them inside their corpsely home is far easier than moving them all individually.
And that is the Red Star Temple! Happy visiting!"
-Dr. D Clownberg
The first non-forest sector exhibit I'm posting! I'm breaking the Zooge up into different sub areas, and this is quite literally the first exhibit you see upon entering the Mountain Sector known as Youkai Peaks. Unown are actually rough to include, as they can only really spawn by hitting a Gold (or Unown hive as they are called in this setting), which means mob spawning must be on, which uh, proves a bit of an issue.
I decided to post this today just because I'm feeling the Letty Brain Worms wiggling in my head. Fun fact about the Zooge setting: I imagine that Yuki-onnas like Letty are one of the Unown's typical predators. So Letty is more than qualified for this.
