There were two kinds of musicians in Kaori’s head, those who can sing and those who took up an instrument to avoid singing. Kaori was the latter. Although she could sing, she couldn’t sing well and due to the karaoke culture that she was exposed to, she’s learnt that singing well wasn’t the point. To hear someone’s request mid-ballad was something that caused her to stutter, her gaze moving from the screen to the elder sitting beside her. Kaori continued but once she finished, she flashed a smile towards the other, a hand reaching to the back of her neck as the room filled with the applause from the program. “Do you wanna pick something for me? Something with that ‘bounce’?” Was she taking over the karaoke? Probably, but not many were volunteering to sing and if they were, she was more than happy to pass the torch. “Or maybe you wanna take over?”

                    it’s been a minute since they saw each other   ------   perhaps this is what happens when work is on your mind 24/7 which might or might not be the case of nathan wu. either way, starting a new business , revamping it , couldn’t be any more of a difficult task. the effort and hours that end up invested in something so  BIG  matter so much which is why the guitarist has always been giving his very  b e s t . a few days after the official opening of eden’s hall and the bar seems to be getting back to its old ways   -------   the so called  ‘ old ‘  customers would show up again, along with the new ones. long story short, things were getting back to normal, so since he’s stuck there most of the night, some of the meetings are  bond  to take place at the bar. but who thought that he’d do this bad among all of these people , to an extent where he wouldn’t even spot the way too familiar  &  petite  figure of his friend standing two or three steps away from him.

It was true, Chanmi was slowly drifting in and out of conciousness, she’d been working overtime for this new variety show as well as making time for people in her personal life. Trying to balance all these things was taking a toll on Chanmi and making her more tired than necessary. She lets out a soft, tired snort as she opens her eyes at the older female, waving a hand tiredly, “it’s okay… I wasn’t sleeping, just simply resting my eyes unnie!”
